Why do you have to turn "Quest Link" off to use a cable if it literally says "Access PC VR apps with Air Link or a Link cable" under its description?

How are you tethering to MAC? i cannot get the oculus app on mac

I believe he is using a software called "Sidequest" to manage his quest headset. As of now there is no oculus app supported on mac OS.
