If you want to hear Kristen really go off, you need to Hear their version of Amazing Grace! It will give you Goosebumps. I would also suggest Rather be, She takes the lead on that one. And she crushes it with her beautiful voice.
It was so great to hear Scott use his lower register in a solo part, and not just filling in the bass line when Matt or Avi is singing lead. He has such a lovely, rich bass voice. I'm a fan of the original S & G version of this song, but PTX has certainly given it more power and texture. Thanks for another great reaction!
Kirstie, Mitch and Kevin do the "piano keys", bell tones when Scott and or Matt are leading; Kirstie is mad talented - she can belt - otherwise her back up harmonies are usually intensely complicated, and overlooked due to powerful leads
Glad to see someone pick up on Kirstin's power, If you look back at many of their vids, It's kirstin they use to bring the power. That's why they are so smart to have Mitch to do those highs, it is soooo different than anyone else! Think about it...Hallelujah, Mary, Did You know, Amazing Grace, Shallow, on and on Kirstin blows up the power. Loved this reaction man!
Another great reaction. To answer you question as to who was doing "that", it was Kirstie, Mitch and Kevin. Kevin was singing the whole time before he started his beat boxing. If you want to hear Scott's amazing range, check out his collaboration with ROZZI (Crane) for "Lose Us". Definitely an eye opener on Scott's range and a true "banger" with some soul.
This is my all time favorite song that Pentatonix does. They are singing with such emotion. Gives me chills and brings me to tears every time I hear this.
You really need to check out Imagine. It is chills inducing. Also check out Aha the official video and then go straight into them doing it at the Star Vista in Singapore. Mitch really goes off. It's shot on a cellphone and focused on Mitch but it's so good. Also Kevin is in that video you just don't see him. For a fun one really check out Making Christmas from The Nightmare Before Christmas. You really get to hear Matt's bass. Sing is also a fun video to react to and it's an original song. I could keep going but you can never go wrong with Pentatonix. Also Can You Feel The Love Tonight is a great one to watch. And Mad World. Shallow is another fantastic video. Check them out
👋💛💛👋 you've heard Scott sing bass several times! Whenever Avi or Matt sing lead, Scott sings bass. Go back and listen to Matt sing here; read Scott's lips.
doesn't matter how many time I hear Matt's part it gives me chills every single time God there amazing with that said you really need to hear Amazing Grace first time watching that actually made me weep!!!
This is a killer version! The original is very good too (completely different ofc), but in my opinion they put it on another level. Would love to watch you reacting to "Imagine" and "Problem".. 🙏
I've never heard it mentioned by any of the other reactors, even the voice coaches and voice professionals, but when came to the highest part of Matt's solo he opted for the lower harmony line, but the Kirstin, Scott and Mitch filled in so that it was hardly even noticeable. And then when Matt did that octave drop it was just amazing. Great reaction; I love them all! Cheers!
Great Reaction once again! Sometime soon I hope you react to where it all began for PTX. When they were on NBC’s The Sing Off Season 3 in 2011. There are 14 performances in total. While Scott Mitch and Kirstie grew up together, they met Avi and Kevin a week before the audition for the Sing Off. It’s an incredible ride. I hope you do those. Until next time.
If you’d like to hear Scott’s amazing bass range, check out an old Solo of his “I should tell ya momma on ya”. He’s Very young in the video and his voice has only grown since then. There is a live version of this song as well as Seasons of Love, and Love Me When I Don’t that are more recent .
Another awesome version of this song is the Puddles Pity Party version. He also has a ton of other great covers, like "Losing My Religion" from R.E.M., "Space Oddity" from Bowie, and ofcourse, an AMAZING rendition of "Hallelujah".
The only live version of this one that I know of is an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live. I'm not fond of that version because Kimmel forced them to use drummers on the show (the story I heard was these drummers had won some sort of contest or something) and it takes away from the group's performance.
Im so glad you recognized Kirstie's mad talent. LOVE kistie. I agree with some who wrote, try "the wizard of ahhhs" think Kirstie on broad way. Its so much fun and a great journey.
Kirsten always had a lovely voice, but somewhere over the past 4-5 years she developed *power* that wasn't there before. The whole group keeps pushing and training and growing, just one more reason to love them.
Been loving this journey. And you still have SO many bangers to discover. I can’t recommend their cover of Imagine more highly. Talk about goosebumps. Keep ‘em coming!
To see Scotts amazing range, check out his recent TikTok of him singing all the harmonies in "Grace Kelly" by Mika. (it's also posted on his twitter and instagram).
Gotta say, love the energy you bring to your reactions. I watched every PTX one you did back to back last night, save for the ones I haven't seen myself. You've really gotta get in some reactions to their original stuff, though! Sing, Be My Eyes, Love Again, or Run to You all have official videos and are 110%. Some personal favorites (anything before 2018 has Avi as the bass): - La La Latch (2014) - Rather Be (2014) - Radioactive (2013, with Lindsey Stirling) - Papaoutai (2014, with Lindsey Stirling) - A Little Space (original, 2021, no video) - Na Na Na (original, 2015, no video) - Come Along (2019) - Mary, Did You Know? (2014, Xmas) - Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy (2014, Xmas) - Blinding Lights (2020) - Break My Heart (2020) Keep up the great energy.
Thanks for keeping on with the PTX content! I can never get enough of them! I will always check out reactions to them! They always know how to get it done! Again, Scott switches to the bass role when Matt is doing the lead! He's impressive, but not completely a bass for the real low stuff. Thanks for your reaction!
Whenever they have a part in of their songs with the chime sounds (the doos) it is them alternating. No one person does it. I think in this it was a switch off between Mitch and Kirstie.
Great reaction tho!👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 Scott takes the basse line when Matt its singing😁, Try with an original: Sing, Love Again, Cant sleep love, Run to you, Happy now, etc etc 👍🏻 Apparently new video PTXofficial its coming!!! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 cant wait😲
That's why I love Matt: so much power and control and passion in his voice. He's an amazing singer.
If you want to hear Kristen really go off, you need to Hear their version of Amazing Grace! It will give you Goosebumps. I would also suggest Rather be, She takes the lead on that one. And she crushes it with her beautiful voice.
Yes, Amazing Grace is their best work. Kirsten's voice will blow you away.
Yes, Amazing Grace is their best work. Kirsten's voice will blow you away.
Say something is another powerful Kirstie song
You forgot season's of love from the 4th of July show
Yes! Waiting for this reaction!
Scott always covered the bass when Avi (or Matt) sang a solo part.
New Rules Are you that somebody

For more of that Matt/Kevin deadly combo, check out new rules x are you that somebody.
For some of Kirstie killing it, check out say something.

This is my favorite cover of Sound of Silence ❤️
PTX IS THE BEST A CAPELLA GROUP EVER..
🎼🎙🥰

Shallow
100%
Scott covers the bass when the bass (Avi or Matt) are singing lead 😊
If you watch Scott during Avi's solo in the live version of Hallelujah, you can see it.
This is my all time favorite song that Pentatonix does. They are singing with such emotion. Gives me chills and brings me to tears every time I hear this.
Two great Kirsten in songs are "Say Something" and "Shallow"...both are beautiful songs and have Kevin Celloboxing also.
in this song especially, Kirstin's vocals practically tickled my brain... it was wonderful
she is amazing in ''can you feel the love tonight''
Kirstin- amazing Grace =🔥🔥🔥
You really need to check out Imagine. It is chills inducing. Also check out Aha the official video and then go straight into them doing it at the Star Vista in Singapore. Mitch really goes off. They all have wicked vocal ranges. To hear Scott go really high, try Thank you.
Or Problem!!!!
👋💛💛👋 you've heard Scott sing bass several times! Whenever Avi or Matt sing lead, Scott sings bass. Go back and listen to Matt sing here; read Scott's lips.
Kirsten takes lead in Say Something and in Shallow, and both also have the treat of Kevin on cello
doesn't matter how many time I hear Matt's part it gives me chills every single time God there amazing with that said you really need to hear Amazing Grace first time watching that actually made me weep!!!
This is a killer version! The original is very good too (completely different ofc), but in my opinion they put it on another level. Would love to watch you reacting to "Imagine" and "Problem".. 🙏
To see/hear more amazing vocals from Kirsten, listen/watch "Say Something" and "Can You Feel The Love Tonight."
Cheers!
Matt's contrast with Kirstin is gorgeous. She boosted his excellence even further.
Great reaction. I love their version of this. Would definitely recommend Amazing Grace. Kirsten kills it in that!
Great Reaction once again! Sometime soon I hope you react to where it all began for PTX. When they were on NBC’s The Sing Off Season 3 in 2011. There are 14 performances in total. Love your reactions to PTX!
They reflect the emotion they put into this one with their faces and hands! Great reaction!!
I listen to over 300 PTX reactors and you are one of my new favorites. You are so attentive. Thank you!
Jim beat me to it...Kirsten's vocals in Amazing Grace is second to none. Great reaction again. Thanks and stay safe.
If you’d like to hear Scott’s amazing bass range, check out an old Solo of his “I should tell ya momma on ya”. He’s Very young in the video and his voice has only grown since then. There is a live version of this song as well as Seasons of Love, and Love Me When I Don’t that are more recent .

When Avi/Matt Is singing Scott takes over the bass.
Soon there will be a new video by Pentatonix , on their IG story and Scott's IG story there is a photo of a new video being filmed
One of their most powerful covers in my opinion. I love how much you are loving them!
Im so glad you recognized Kirstie's mad talent. LOVE kistie. I agree with some who wrote, try "the wizard of ahhhs" think Kirstie on broad way. Its so much fun and a great journey.
In Hallelujah, Scott takes over the bass when avi is doing his solo. They’re all so versatile.
Kirsten always had a lovely voice, but somewhere over the past 4-5 years she developed *power* that wasn't there before. The whole group keeps pushing and training and growing, just one more reason to love them.
If you still doesn't realize it, scott can do bass, he always sing the bass part when the main bass sing a solo.
Been loving this journey. And you still have SO many bangers to discover.
I can’t recommend their cover of Imagine more highly. Talk about goosebumps. Keep ‘em coming!
Another one where Matt kills it, imo, is their cover of Havana. He doesn't have a solo on that one, but he and Kevin together are amazing.
Niiiiiiiice!! I love Pentatonix!! I get you on the chills... for SURE!! Final one for the evening. (really want some more NF😉)
Haha I thought you were done for the night lol thank you for binge watching my reactions. Welcome to the fam Lauri!

@@lauriwest435 sounds good! Have a good night!
Glad you caught Matt's deep bass drop.
Scott would cover bass when Avi sang. Now he still does it with new bass Matt. Scott has an incredible range.
Check out their song Amazing Grace also...pretty damn good.
To see Scotts amazing range, check out his recent TikTok of him singing all the harmonies in "Grace Kelly" by Mika. (it's also posted on his twitter and instagram).

Scott has a really deep vocal cord range,
Whenever they have a part in of their songs with the chime sounds (the doos) it is them alternating. No one person does it. I think in this it was a switch off between Mitch and Kirstie.
When Avi sings the verse in Halleluyah Scott is the one doing the bass
Scott has RANGE!
Great reaction as always man have you done a reaction to the doing imagine or amazing grace because they kill both of those
This group's vocal skills are extraordinary, but Disturbed's version made me sob.
.......And down the rabbit hole you go.
Definitely check out " New Rules/Are You That Somebody".
when Avi left he chose Matt to replace him.
Scott would take over bass when the bass does solos
To get a real sense of Scott's range check out his solo cover of "I Should Tell Ya Momma on Ya"
Great reaction tho!👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Scott takes the basse line when Matt its singing😁,
