Hi there! I’m new to all this cash stuffing, but I can say that it is working for me. I have been able to save money, but also go and do things with my kids without feeling like I’m going to be broke. I really love the idea of an over flow binder. I love that she put an idea I’ve thought of so often but couldn’t fully grasp into an actual concept!! It’s cool to know I wasn’t the only one who was thinking it lol I will get that overflow binder someday day soon. I'm sure I am not the only one who has thought of this. I just got tired of going to the bank to deposit money when I reached a certain amount.
I am lazy tbh, the less times I leave my home the better haha

it comes from categories where she reached her goal amount or just reached a hundred 😊 then she replace the real money with a placeholder and put it on the tracker which category it was and the amount🤗

Soo, the money comes from my binders!
Lets say you replace money in an envelope with a cash placeholder.
the money that the placeholder is replacing goes into the overflow binder.

YES! When the envelope is fully funded. And I KNOW I won’t need to withdraw it for a long time, I do deposit the money!
I think HYSA (most of them) have a limit or some kinda of penalty if you withdraw too often.
And most of my binder money gets pulled out frequently.
Soo only when I know I wont need that money for a while !

Is there a maximum you keep in the overflow binder before you place the money in a HYSA? Or how does it work? I'm really liking the overflow binder.
You keep as much as you want ☺️
I don’t place any of my Binder Money in a a HYSA unless I KNOW I won’t be withdrawing that money for a long time.

How did you start your overflow binder to have that much money?
It starts the moment you start using your cash placeholders.
I have placeholders in my binders, and the money goes into the overflow binder.
So you don't add up your trackers, take that cash from the overflow and deposit it? Or do you?
I deposit the money, only if I KNOW for a fact, I won't need to take it out anytime soon.
