I get an overwhelming impression that this OC was a prototype in the project that eventually resulted in Shadow the Hedgehog. There’s a line that goes “Prototype of a knockoff born on the ark, this shadow of a shadow’s got a warriors heart”. Not only that, but there’s also an entire verse that goes “can’t help but gag when they say I be movin’ like Sonic, spin dash so sick got him thinkin’ it’s chronic, & I’m not gon’ be content living under a Shadow, cuz’ ultimately this life form’s her own way to grow”. If that’s not the case, I’d be highly surprised, as it seems the song is setting up such a backstory perfectly.
