As a miserable Carolina fan, I think the issue is that before the season most people thought the team would be better because they blamed Matt Rhule for the struggles, when it turned out the actual root of the issues with this team is one Mr. David Tepper (sell the team bozo)
Lamar did not put up great numbers, let’s be honest.: Number 15 in passing yards Number 11 in passing TDS Number 4 in QBR Number 17 in completions Number 8 in completion % 13 total turnovers (7 int, 6 fumbles) Those numbers don’t look like a top qb in the league. All he can do is run the ball. So should he win league MVP with those numbers? Not saying Brock Purdy should, but look at the same rankings for him: Number 5 in passing yards Number 3 in passing TDS Number 1 in QBR Number 16 in completions Number 4 in completion % 13 total turnovers (11 int, 2 fumbles) Just comparing numbers. If a QB is the mvp, they should at least be a top 5 statistical QB, but if you want to say he’s the mvp because he’s dual threat… compare Jackson’s stats to Josh Allen. Only in turnovers and rushing yards does Lamar beat Allen. Allen has more rushing TDS, higher QBR, more passing TDS, higher completion percentage… Lamar is NOT mvp this year, but he will be because the NFL made the decision up early and cannot go back on it. Prove me wrong.
Talent wise, I think you made a good choice by putting Panthers first for NFC South. They definitely have the talent. Adam Theilen, Miles Sanders, Top 1 QB, Tommy Tremble. Pretty Solid. I think there gonna have a much better year and could be a threat to win there division
As a broncos fan I’ve got to tell you Russ did not get benched for no reason. He got benched because everyone suspected he was nothing special and it was proven right when our secondary qb, Jarret Stidham, put up nearly identical stats the first game Russ was benched to Russ’ last game.
