    For me introspectively the real excitement that sub consciously fires my spirit is i use to have a pedal car as a kid, a real nice one too. I can foggily remember, lots of very nice happy memories then.

    What fun! I usually lead a group of 8 to 10 trikes on rides and everyone is on varying ability so I understand the challenge of keeping lot of riders together on streets!

    Ben, it must have been great fun to have seven velomobiles riding together. I've only ridden with one other velonaut, but it was a blast.

      @@user1522p it was a ton of fun. Later that day a group of 5 of us did a ride around Minneapolis. Video is also on my Channel. Group rides are the best!

    I nearly had my waw sold. Was looking forward to getting stuff together to be able to fly down and visit and look at some models. The Urban is my newest favorite model so far.

      Out of curiosity do you have the waw advertised somewhere?

    That's a great idea.
    Newbies get to experience their first drive.
    Get taught some road etiquette.
    Get to create a sense of community.
    Help rise awareness about velomobiles.
    And after the ride of something feels off they have you there to help adjust whatever need adjustment in their velo.
    And the lost goes on...
    If I wasn't saving up for a house I'd get a velo asap.

    awesome. probably more velomobiles here than in the entire uk. very cute seeing the baby ones following in a line.

      I think there are more in the UK than you think

    • @andy-the-gardener
      @andy-the-gardener 3 месяца назад

      @@mnveloguy yeah, i probably exaggerated. but not much. ive certainly never seen one. the conditions in uk dont seem that good for velomobiles. roads are not straight or flat, theres not many long bike paths, theres way too many cars and generally its quite a low brow nation with a pro car and anti cycling attitude

    • @mnveloguy
      @mnveloguy  3 месяца назад +3

      @@andy-the-gardener same situation in a lot of the US. There are likely less than 1,000 Velomobiles in the US. I aim to change that one velomobile at a time.

      @@andy-the-gardeneri think the hills and the pricetag is why there arent so many. I really want one but 10.000 for these is too much for my little wallet

    Love to see all this aero! Also nice to see the suburbs do not have any sidewalks and the crossings are unorganized. Have fun at cuisine speed!

      I normally ride in on road bike lanes. We have many in my suburb. But these are rookie riders, so I took them where there was less traffic.

      Probably a bit over 30mph. Usually in that stretch I do 32-35mph.
