1:20 Translation of the Dialogue "That's not a monster, that's just a rabbit." "What if he eats us?" "Who is scared of a rabbit? You can't tell anybody about this."
I freaking love the fact that the Vekoma Family Boomerang literally uses the same supports as this thing! That’s Genius!! More parks need to do this, 2 coasters for the price of 1!
Vekoma did a fantastic job here - the interaction of these two coasters is great fun and "Hals über Kopf" is an awesome ride: it has floaty inversions, some airtime moments and forceful turns - combined with the open restraints it's just pure fun :)
While "Head-Over-Heels" is pretty close as a translation word by word, "Hals-über-Kopf" means "Neck over Head" when translated directly, which does not refer to being in love, but means something like "going head first" or being reckless.
and it is also ambiguos, because "neck over head" means "upside down" - nice name for a coaster with inversions. That is an excellent example for this special kind of humor this parks shows all over it's place. e.g. "fountain of youth" for a log flume where you sit in bathtubs
Thanks for posting this... I had seen on insta that it had updated landscaping at the back end of the ride and couldn't find a pov that showed it. Such a beautifully landscaped park!
odd thing to comment but i hope herschend builds off of dragonflier and puts one of these at silver dollar city they dont have any non-sitdown coasters as it is and this ride looks fun as hell
It's "Volldampf" - a Vekoma Family Boomerang which crosses the track of "Hals über Kopf" multiple times - this interaction of the two coasters is really fun :)
Looked like there were some jerky transitions. Was this an inverted coaster, or some kind of suspended model that I don’t know about? I can’t imagine that it’s really suspended if it does such sudden changes in direction.
This doesn't even get close to an B&M invert. It's a fun coaster especially for younger teens, but compared to a B&M invert, this is just a boring kiddie coaster. It doesn't really have a lot of forces, and even the inversions are rather tame. It is also rattling quite a lot for how new it is.

Thats a monty python reference?
@@maverick114e9 It's based on a tale from around 1850, "The Seven Swabians"
hahagaga blud ist too funny🗣
Vekoma is completely reinventing their image with these new generation coasters.
Certainly not what I think of when I think SLC :)
We loved this coaster! It's nice to see it completed, as the station wasn't built when we rode it last year. Great POV as always guys :)
Still missing the store and enter through the exit- but yes mostly completed!
@@AmusementInsider We'll probably head back next year, it should all be completed by then 🙂
Do they keep the rides open as they construct the park?
@@Lemonaidz7 They open the rides when they're safe to operate. Things like additional theming etc are added later in the season if needed 🙂
I freaking love the fact that the Vekoma Family Boomerang literally uses the same supports as this thing! That’s Genius!! More parks need to do this, 2 coasters for the price of 1!
emerald park just did it lol
I’m glad Vekoma got their act together and is now making elite rides

It's such a fun ride. Really loved it
There is another coaster that is going through the station at the beginning. How cool is that?
@Gappie Al Kebabi no it isn't.
@Gappie Al Kebabi okay and? They can just stuff their phones in lockers
@Gappie Al Kebabi thats the guest's fault, not the coaster's fault, and there's catch nets under the track for exactly that purpose anyways.
@Gappie Al Kebabi This is fucking germany bro, if it wasnt save it wouldnt have been allowed here :D
@Gappie Al Kebabi cringe GP
Looks great, can't wait to see more of these
Thanks for posting this... I had seen on insta that it had updated landscaping at the back end of the ride and couldn't find a pov that showed it. Such a beautifully landscaped park!
I really like the colors of the coaster
This looks incredible. I would ride it every day.
This looks like a blast!
I love this Roller Coaster !
So smooth, so comfortable, so German !
Just, magic ! The area can fits in every park it’s incredible 🥰
So German? 🤔
The theme is about germany 😅
The manufacturer is actually Dutch 😅
I know i know !
I was talk about the theming 😅🙃
Front row ride! Good to know!
The theming looks amazing now, even better than i imagined! I only saw this with incomplete theming before.
Wow I love the layout and the scenery is gorgeous!! Plus the other coaster station fly by 😍 so cool
The pacing is absolutely unreal!
Looks like airtime on a invert/suspended coaster!👍
That's the best part of it imo :D
This is what makes this coaster very special and unique - it feels great :)
Looks very smoothly 💪🏼
In the last row this coaster is crazy
0:33- Zero g roll over the station followed by a highly banked turnaround? That rings a bell….
I love this coaster, on Saturday last week I rode it 2 times, so good!
I wish vekoma would bring some of this new greatness to the states, namely, THE WEST COAST!!!!
Seriously Six Flags + Vekoma would be a dream come true, they'd go for a Vekoma
I love that one of these models is comin to my home park in 2024
@@Cormacbermo yeah
I’m getting a stc in emerald park which is 30 minutes away from me
I can't wait for the review
Ah finally they finnished the station!!! When i was there last year it was still just a concrete shell
Take a shot every time they say ‘woah’
Looks so fun
It is so fun
Loved it
It looks better than many B&M inverts. Good job Vekoma
Please get some of these in the US… looks amazing 🤩
It looks like it gives actual airtime somehow
Vekoma is really finding their space in the industry.. This is a good thing.
Absolutely! It all started with Lech Coaster in 2017, and has continued in that same vein ever since. I love every single New Vekoma I have ridden.
😮 whoa
Wait a modern suspended looping coaster from vekoma? Did they fix the painfull problems the old slc clones have?
Oh yes. It’s incredible
@@AmusementInsider Nice
Is it better than b&m inverts?
I think so. Less forceful but I love these free feeling restraints.
There is a stc and a boomerang coaster being built in the new area of emerald park Ireland. The new area is called Tir na nog
Woah the theming!
Great POV, I’m a new subscriber to your channel. I’m Henry by the way 🙂
Hello 👋
@@AmusementInsider how are you doing today and are you having a good day?
What was the ride at the beginning of the video that went backwards? It looked like a train
There are two new coasters intertwined this one and a boomerang one for kids
This coaster has the name from an old regional song "at the swabian steam train" - "auf der schwäb'schen eisenbahn"
odd thing to comment but i hope herschend builds off of dragonflier and puts one of these at silver dollar city they dont have any non-sitdown coasters as it is and this ride looks fun as hell
woahah!!
hello i love thsi coaster
This coaster is so good
@@seebeLeonard500 hi leonard
This is really confusing me… vekoma making good inverts?!
Woah...woah...wooooah....woah...woah...woah...WOOOAH...woah...yeah...woah...wo-
prettiest coaster ever?
It surely looks amazing :)
what's the ride that goes into the station?
It's "Volldampf" - a Vekoma Family Boomerang which crosses the track of "Hals über Kopf" multiple times - this interaction of the two coasters is really fun :)
Nossa, ninguém grita 😕 os gritos é uma das melhores parte 😂
Vekoma should just rebuild the SLC but with this track and profiling.
Looked like there were some jerky transitions. Was this an inverted coaster, or some kind of suspended model that I don’t know about? I can’t imagine that it’s really suspended if it does such sudden changes in direction.
It's a suspended thrill coaster which is the replacement model for the SLC
@@AdamSmith-gs2dv I see, so they call it that, but it has no swinging side to side motion on the train?
@@gojewla It does swing but only 2 or 3 inches to make it smoother.
Suh, Mark?
:45 That transition looks really abrupt. It looks off.
Bnm besides capacity is dead

😢
It’s fun but not nearly as good as a B&M invert
