as a female engineer I wish this video existed 20 years ago. I was so determined to study the area that drew me in but I was met with constant 'why don't you become a teacher instead? You could teach science'....
Actually, now, at the age of 40 I know I could not teach science, because I don't have that ability, but Med Device R&D Engineer..... yup that's what I do.

women generally dont want to work in stem or become engineers. in the west today theres basically nobody standing in their way but women (generally, u are one of the exceptions) dont choose these occupations as theyre not interested. This is simply down to free choice as men and women are v different.

I was born decades before. In 1979 I wanted to enter McLaren but it was only men allowed. Like in the rest of the F1 teams.

The one point I am concerned about McLaren, is that in the 60 years of the team’s history, only three women have driven for the team - Emma Glimour and Hedda Hosås in Extreme E and Bianca Bustamante in F1 Academy.
I really would like to see more women drivers in McLaren Papaya Orange in upcoming years.
