You mean Bulgarian kopanitsa, the the word is Bulgarian, the people who dance wear Bulgarian national wear, even the clip was showing famous Bulgarian nature views and the treasure from Panagyurishte famous Bulgarian treasure :) Additionally in the back you can spot a dark green flag which was the first flag made by Raina Kabaivanska famous revolutionary who fight for the solvation of Bulgaria from the Ottoman Empire. This flag is traditionally waved in any Bulgarian gatherings. Its arrogance to take Bulgarian TV production and label it for Turkish to make money.

Hello Ralitsa, thank you for your contribution. I just want to note here, that I may be responsible for this misinterpreted blend of cultures :-) I made this video with snapshots of Bulgarian culture elements, (as there is no doubt this is a Bulgarian melody), using as audio a great adaption of this melody by a turkish ensemble called"Kolektif Istanbul" ,you can find and check the rest of their work here: www.discogs.com/Kolektif-Balkanatolia/release/3700309 so the "ala turca" part of the title has to do with this performance, and not the origin of it.
      Thanks again, take care
      Maria

@@afro3ilandi this is not a misinterpretes blend of cultures but cultural appropriation and theft at the very least. given the history of Bulgarian subjugation and genocide by the Ottoman empire, it is much worse. Another claim by Turkey on Bulgarian culture and history. in case, you do not know up to this day Turks claim that Bulgarians are Turks, that Bulgarian lands belong to Turkey. so this feeds into this this kind of chauvinistic narrative.

@@RositsaPetrovarjp7 Today's Turkish people, like the people in the band that played this music, are not Ottomans, and have nothing to do with what the Ottomans did to our people. They are appreciating Bulgarian culture, not "culturally appropriating" it. The history is bloody, but that doesn't mean that any performance by any ethnically Turkish person has anything to do with claiming Bulgarian lands or culture. You are conflating two different things.

@@RositsaPetrovarjp7 buddy. Cultural appropriation isn't a bad thing as you've been told. Music is incompatible with the modern concept of copyright. People make music based on the music they heard. If they want to play a piece from somewhere else, there's nothing you can do about it

Hello Boris, once again I have to explain that I did not gave the title, it was given by the Turkish ensemble "kolektif İstanbul" that made this adaption of this particular melody.
