This is some goddamn H.R. Giger design... in a commuter car, of all things. It's actually genius, really well executed, but the lay people were never going to understand. I admire the designer for having the balls to do this.

And I think it‘s extremely unpractical! 🤣 You can‘t do anything without looking away from the steering wheel area… You can‘t even see how fast you are going without looking to the side… And if someone sat in the middle, they would just bang their head on all the instruments if you crashed…😂 It‘s just my personal opinion but I think every single detail about this vehicle is just wrong 😅😂
When ive seen this car, i fell in love. The design its so unique, the interiors are good and the car is solid.

this car has 6 effective seats, it has an unsurpassed habitability. The ergonomics of the controls have been made to be 100% usable without problems. The gear change in that position is brilliant. The most fun car I've ever driven. Aesthetically, you may not like it, absolutely legitimate, but first you must try it

@@Clameni I can agree, since my dad owns a big car repair services fiats are common, so i get to drive nearly every type of car at least once, i drove a multipla that had 600k km on its clock (taxi car) and still everything is soo smoth and SPACEUS, literally you have giant windows and lots of space, ergonomicly possitioned transmition, only if it wasnt soo ugly on the outside

This is the first time I see the interior. Pretty surprised it's just as crazy as the exterior. But I love the huge side windows. The visibility seems fantastic and it looks like quite a practical car.
There are only 3 things scares me:
- death
- disease
- Multipla

i can explain that, or try to: what they did with the Multipla was likely pick out existing parts for both the interior and the exterior. That's why outside the car looks like the Marea or the Bravo/Brava, up to a certain height, and in the interior you get that kind of dashboard, made up of several parts coming from existing Fiat models.

I don't know why i'm seeing this, but just for you to know, 2 french guy from the youtube channel "Vilebrequin" are currently building a 1000hp Fiat Multipla (for real yes).
I drive my sixt Multipla, every day with a smile. it also makes people smile. why should cars look fast and agressive ?
We have driven Fiats since 1977 our present one is the best a 2005 115hp model. pity they stopped making them, but they will soon once the panic is over.

Multipla is a state of mind! I imagine my self driving this car, i would probably laugh all the time while driving 😂
Except the look of this car it seems to be really comfy and all these big windows seems to give a really good visibility
ive got a '99 one, it is quite comfortable but suspensions are kinda harder than you might think. It's a better ride than your average Renault Scenic anyway, doesn't roll as much.
You really need to be careful on the road tho, it's obviously really wide and the steering isn't as precise as it should be, imho. The transmission instead is lovely, shifts quite nicely and is probably the best part in the car. It shifts better than my parent's 2012 Fiat Panda (the gear shift in that car feels like a toy, both in action and as an object).

Reliable and good lookin? not so much.
The big windows also makes it easier for people to see the maniac who bought it

It's a fantastic car, much better than many others now. The engine is almost perfect and very comfortable. Ugly? No! So special. Yesterday we tested a second 2008 diesel series. Oh my God, such a good machine !! We bought it for almost nothing!! Nice video, thanks!!

@@Nico-mi2pr Gonna reply in english so people can read (we're both italians anyway): ive got a '99 Multipla 1.6 gasoline, the center console soft-touch varnish has melted over time and the plastic underneath is cracked in multiple spots. Also, the interior door handles look like a mouse took bites on it, it's worn in a wierd way, as if the plastic top layer was a "crust". The exterior door handles deteriorate aswell (but are fine on my car). There are plenty of issues with the electronics, my car has a radio that sometimes powers on if you turn the steering wheel to the right, has had issues with the turn signals (basically they stopped working, although it rarely happens, but still), and through OBD reader it displays a faulty MAP sensor (which is fine, though). All of that and the car was driven only 89 thousand kilometers. Oh, and the original owner kept the car in a garage most of the time. So the interior don't deteriorate just because of the sun.
Tbh i like the multipla. Its an underated car and the design is cool.
I always thought, if a family car is ugly in the outside it's cuz it's beautiful and comfy in the inside. This car proved me wrong.

Again, people before judging the Multipla only for its external look should try and drive themselves. Practical and useful things appear as soon as you sit.
You know, "society" has high standards these days. Alwase judging a book by its cover, and the need for social validation trough social media, materialism etc. wich shows how broken society truly is.

The stick is so light! I've done a test drive of a 2014 Subaru WRX recently, and it really took me some effort to shift into gears. The easiest gear shift I've felt so far was a 2019 Civic Si, but still not as easy as this one.

Cybertruck is uglier than a Multipla, Multipla at least looks a bit interesting, you can see some work and thinking went into the design, Fiat tried to make a car that would be original, stick out, and they sorta did. had a multipla 3 years ago. the plastica was poor and the repiers were often and expensive but we loved it. the space inside was great and the kids loved that it looked weird
