Good review. I have an s18a g2 and enjoyed learning on it. This year I purchased a red tip v10 and you're 100% right those extra 3" make a WORLD of difference in terms of stability. I'm managing the paddle it without going in but just barely. I wish I purchased the equivalent in a stellar. I think the fit-and-finish on Stellar skis is better than Epic.

Great review - thanx Dave! This seems to confirm what I have heard about Stellar`s secondary stability. Looking forward to testing the SEI vs SEL - hopefully it handles wake/chop/runners just as well.

Thank you for watching! When I get my hands on a boat I try to review it to share with others. If I love it and buy it, I tend to talk about it over and over again. If the cards play out and I run one of the longer 100+ mile races in the coming years (I have my eye on the MR340) I might just be looking to pick up an SEI. It seemed very stable to me and faster than the S18S or SR. I wish I had access to some Epic boats to see how they stack up, but I just don't seem to have much access to any of them locally. I also want to spend some bucket time in the SEA to see if and how that fits with my skills. Any suggestions on what else I should take a look at? And by the way, I find the SEL to be significantly less stable.

if your use to flat water, you should put this on your bucket list in the Land Down Under Australia. lt's called the Murry Marathon , 400km in 5 days going with the current.

Noticed on your 510 your missing an arrow on the front from your 510 review. Did it fall off or start to peel off and took it off?

It started peeling so I helped it achieve its ultimate fate.

The Nelo 510 and the V7 had the longer adjustable leg/foot range.
