One of my life goals is to make a pilgrimage to Green Bay to watch watch a Packers game at Lambeau AND hit up one of your warehouse sales at the same time. (I live off the north coast of BC, Canada...). One day!

I've gone to pallet sales like this and found great stuff to flip. Like bass guitar stems and other stuff for 1-5 each to sell for 20-150 each

you dont need a designer to get a vector from that door sign. im pretty shocked they did not vectorize it when they made it. anybody who makes those signs (probably even that guy) can do vectors. i never make a sign or sticker without vectorizing it first. that is typically built into the software that makes the stuff. but i will say $40 is pretty cheap. im guessing thats why he didnt do it.

Mirrors aren't doing well because they are defective. Every time someone looks into them they change, you literally test them and know what would happen.

I am thinking your tables are too neat and stocked with factory returns perhaps if you had a messier look as if ends of product lines so people think they have found a hard to get item.Even if there is a full pallet load still to come out in the store room.

I think many of your customers have now figured out why come to $10 day when they can get the same item for $5 (or less) if they wait. Time to rethink the falling prices strategy?

There’s 2 near me they run Friday to Wednesday every week
Nearest is the next town over about 30 miles away.

Maybe do a focused sale $5 to $1 (go back to beginning)
Ask for feedback from customers, and why they aren't spending or coming as much?

Something is wrong. You need to look at your marketing, maybe building an email list and looking at placing signs out on the street which I think you used to do?
Inflation is making people more cautious with money but this is the time when your sales should be doing well as people want to save.
I hope it picks up for you again.

Is it possible to put a sign up (directly on an item or just in general) that says if you remove from packaging needlessly - congrats it’s yours now - or something along those lines? If they knew they had to pay for it, even if they didn’t want it - I think that would help cut down on that.

Your selection of merchandise is not your problem. If I was a local, I would have jumped on a lot of those $10 day items. Your problem is getting people in the door. Your reach should be far greater. Maybe don’t advertise what you’re selling and leave it more of a mystery, so people will have to come in to see what it for themselves what you’re offering? A mystery sale. People are curious and love a mystery. I don’t know, I’m not a marketing major, but you need to do something different to get more people in the door.
He does Facebook videos the morning before the sale. -Slow moving videos that show the products = people come in just to try and get them.

So your employees are part time workers? When you tell them to come to work are they expecting a full 8 hour pay day? I dont understand, you send them home if its slow? How do they make money?
During sales they typically work more than 40 hours, so they probably still got their 40, but missed out on some overtime
I don’t make them go home, but I offer it if they want a break. During the sale we all work well over 40 hours.

Yes! He was only in the bucket for a short while. We moved him to a bigger tub and gave him food, water, and a little hutch to hide in. He's growing so fast

Hey John, I do think you should buy some branded stuff for drawing more people in next time. The items dont have to be profitable for you but they will help getting more attention and paying customers. Try finding some highlights for your sales and im sure it will be rewarded.
Also may think about having Giveaways for your Customers like a free beverage after the purchase or other items that don't hurt too much giving them away.

Ummm those boost packs cannot jump start your car from being plugged into your cigarette lighter. They will charge off your cigarette lighter but if your battery is weak enough it won't start your car pulling what little juice is left won't start the car. You owe me a free one for false advertising.

If the jump starters were black or neutral color then they'd sell a lot more. I think the fact that they're pink put some people off for dumb reasons.
