Pop music doesn't get just any better than this. Absolutely brilliant in every sense.
I've loved dexy's since I was a 13 year old in 1982. Still love them. they have a direct channel to my soul.
Without doubt my fave Dexys song. Superb
This is an incredible tune.. I feel like I've discovered a true treasure! x
My mum used to get our ironing done by this old woman in our town. and she always put creases in my old Levis!!!
I love this song. 16 minutes of asking what's she's like and not answering the question. It's brilliant.
God bless Kevin and Dexys! Thanks for sharing! Greetings from Mexico City.
Brilliant song that is pure theatre. For ages when Kevin Rowland was asked by bill/Pete " What's she like ?", I thought Kevin replied " anti-matter, anti-matter!" Which makes no sense at all. Eventually the penny dropped and I was hearing " In time, in time " which was a stalling mechanism for the song to be dragged out. I'm glad it was dragged out as this song is pure genius musicianship and could go on for days and I wouldn't get bored!
Pretty sure this song has been playing nonstop in my head in some form or other since I first heard it. Just the best.
I discovered this song in 2000 on a bbc documentary on dexys and been obsessed ever since.
Same and here I am now… 😂
sheer class
Tres magnifique , this performance brought tears of joy .
Oh my~!!! Kevin is such a gifted soul man! Such genius to create perfect pieces of songcrafted treasures. First time I've come upon his recent (last couple/few years) of performing efforts. Met him in Summer'82 for a local mod fanzine interview was doing...I was awestruck in the presence of my personal Jesus. Looking fwd to taking a listen to new stuff. In debt for your share
@@eightiesmusic1984 Yes in my teens, Id say having seen Geno & his Ram Jam band a couple times in a couple of small L.A. 'soul music' clubs, I was taken with pure 'full brass' soul music. Steve Marriott disappointed, but Kevin Rowland never did. Cheers 🍻
Brilliant thanks 🏴🔥
Brilliant !
This is hands down one of the best pop songs ever written. Epic.
Stunningly good!
Excellent
Bloody brilliant. Downunder South Australia.
Despite lousy acoustics this only gets better.
Tune!!!!!!! Saw them Thursday night playing in Dublin. Jeez they're playing so good.
one of a kind, him. So lovable.

gfreat...thanks for that
Genius.
年取ってもカッコいいなあ、私は60年代からのUKROCKファン今やつてるのカモンアイリーンかな?
it's not the same without Billy
Does anyone what the song is called which starts at about 7 minutes 40 secs ? TIA
It's the same song, and much better than the previous seven minutes! Would have been a massive hit if they'd shortened it.
@@mjclark641 Thanks for that info
Kevin's quite lovable! :)
7:50 Big Jim. Ach after that it's just all celtic soul brothers and sisters.
I'd like to see Kevin and Mario biondi!!
perform together!
urgh, beginning bad
Brilliant!
Funny you should comment today, I'm in Belfast right now yards away from George Best's house.
Alistair Burns Haha -- was wondering what your comment had to do with this brilliant Dexy's video, when I realised it was probably my Blanchflower-orientated username that prompted your response! Two fantastic players sadly no longer with us :(
Hope I didn't confuse but this is my other RUclips account which allows longer videos. Staying in Belfast with my girlfriend's uncle who just got a Facebook friend request from Ian Best, the man's brother!
