Wonderful to see a mechanic this good! :) Can you do this in a day? My clutch bearing broke today, so i am going to order a kit, and try to do what you did so elegantly! Thank you so much for helping other with this video! i know nothing comes free man! Best! David, Sweden.

You're good, this is a pretty heavy job. good work. The bearing of my clutch also makes noise. I didn't know that so many things had to be taken apart. Congratulations.
Mine slips a bit and biting point went up . Higher revs in high gears. You recon it will hold to drive 7 miles to my mechanic? I've came from town the other day, managed to go home with it .
@kevin-albert williams - just helped a mate change his clutch in a 207 1.6 hdi, now it seems when tying to go through the gears that 5th will go into it but because nearly imposible to come out of, can wiggle it about and get it back to netural, any ideas?
But he is aggressive like he doesn't care about anything else. He can break anything that can get in his wah. He didnt use torque wrench anywhere. You dont put the lug nuts directly by impact wrench you might destroy the whole hub doing so but he doesn't care

gregos73 I think Peugeot has a better layout in terms of engine bay ... But in terms of wiring issues Renault comes out on top. In my opinion ... the newer Peugeot engine itself has improved a lot and it’s now been widely used from Land Rover, Ford, bmw mini, But so has Renault. A lot of Japanese cars now has Renault engines .. But both of them their downfall is the wiring in my opinion.
Hey, random question but would it be easy to tell if my clutch has really been replaced by looking? Is it easy to see? I feel my clutch is no different so I'm suspicious lol
The pedal should feel really really soft and smooth. Biting point should be roughly two inches off the floor. Otherwise pull out the slave cylinder and shine a light through the access and see that way if it’s new or not.
@@WMCS I have same car recently bought the convertible 1.6 petrol. No problem with changing gears but I notice clutch is very easy press and doesn't engage untill pedal is almost fully up. Is it going to go soon do you think.

use a wedge and hammer it straight up near by the supportiing bearing.
