That mother breaks my heart
I know, it gave me chills and broke my heart.
Listening to the mother beg and cry is absolutely heartbreaking.
Same here, my heart definitely hurt for her.
Pure, unadulterated anguish. Unspeakable.
@@PennyPaws4 Absofreakinglutely
I've never burst out crying on any of these shows, but that plea for her daughter just unleashed the water works.
@Regina Robinson I know hon it was absolutely HEART WRENCHING and I feel the same as the rest of you
I was a kid growing up on the Gold Coast Queensland when this happened and I can assure you that every little kid was scared in Australia
So glad you wasn't one of those kids, I was molested as a child and you never get over it, or at least I haven't
The killer videotaped the assault. Hopefully, someone comes across the videos & hands it in to police with more information about this vile criminal.
That mom was absolutely one of the saddest I have ever witnessed....I can't imagine
Heartbreaking and horrifying.. like a horror movie, but 100% true..
Prayers of peace and love to the victims, and prayers for the swift capture and punishment for the perpetrator
God damn the first 40 seconds and seeing her mother 💔😭
already started crying
This cold case needs to be solved. They think he was a electrical wire worker.
That creep….so nonchalantly saying ‘’that’s what they tell me ‘’ after he committed and was jailed for unspeakable crimes.
Very suspicious they found balaclava and knife in his attic.
A lot of others were probably told they were the main suspect. Just recently the media are telling us that police have a new main suspect in the Elizabeth Membrey murder. One of the earlier main suspects was charged and spent about 2 years in jail awaiting trial only to be found not guilty. But not to worry, they now have a new suspect.
And Catholic cardinal George Pell was sent to jail for an offence that even basic logic says could not have even happened.
The opening of this video really affected me. That poor mother! Her level of despair was so genuine...this is beyond tragic.
Sounds like he was a cop with access to evidence.
Unfortunately I think the poor darling he murdered probably got the blindfold off or did something that made him believe he'd be caught if he let her go. :( God bless her family.
I remember when this happened, it was devastating to every parent 😢
She was too young to be home alone, babysitting 2 younger children. This could have and should have been avoided.
I have a feeling John Chan knew more and had things to hide.
i knew one of the innocent victims he traumatised😓 i hope he rots in hell for eternity whoever he is
First, prayers and extreme sympathy to all victims and their loved ones. Always. But, in stories such as this, my first and last question is Why, oh why don't households have dogs?
I have guard dogs but, if people don't understand dogs enough to handle them properly, get a Chihuahua at least. They have phenomenal hearing and with only nominal training, are wonderful alarms that let you know to get the gun!
No one builds a better alarm system than nature. Use it, please
Very sad
Gosh that's a powerful black and white photo of Carmen's mother crying with the flowers
It's clear the offender who killed the child and left grafitti on the car was misleading the investigators.....to make it look like a different motive and thus a different offender.
While this TV show is quite good for its time (about 3-4 years ago), it contains a probable clanger. The family of the 13 Apr 1991 kidnap victim probably didn’t own the Lower Plenty takeaway café, but they did own the much more upmarket Cantonese restaurant, Mings, in Eltham near the Lower Eltham Park. They also owned a restaurant in Bulleen Shopping Centre and possibly another in Warrandyte.
Since this was made there have been some interesting discoveries by citizen sleuths. The “electricity connections theory” was broadcast in March 2022 and the incredible news that the 1991 international profile was based on incorrect information that claimed all 4 incidents from 1987-1991 took place during school holiday, when as pointed out by a Melbourne newspaper on 17 April 2022, this was not the case. Both topics were mentioned by youtubers before this back in 2021, etc.
Apart from new information released, there are also new suspects, among them a robber, shot dead at Melbourne Airport in 1992.
The audacity of the offender and the inability of the Australian police to find the offender is appalling. What about voice identity? Apart from this tragedy has Australian esprit de corps suffered from the decision made by England, Australia and the United States regarding the Pine Gap incident?
ok law enforcement, get with the program and up your game! Y'all got forensic genealogy now! This perpetrator probably committed alot of your unsolved murders and y'all keep letting him. This should be priority
exactly. It feels like the police are almost lazy at times. They're happy to get small time crims but the big fish end up getting away and escaping to another country or living their lives out somewhere else. The police corruption in Australia is astounding.
He murdered karmein because she saw his face. The spray painted car was another red herring. He was notorious for leaving false clues.
After Karmein was abducted, unbeknown to the parents, Karmein was probably trapped in the car being driven a few miles from the house then right past where they were working.
He obviously moved on after the Chan killing. That he had now killed a victim would lower parental compliance in later abductions. How pronounced are regional accents in Australia? Since his surviving victims portrayed his speech as unremarkable, he obviously was from the Melbourne area or had lived there a long time. To keep from sticking out, any new place to where he would move would have to have similar speech patterns as Melbourne.
This is horrible
🧐
This is cold
Can't find the rope, can't find the swabs? What the????
Maybe it was a tech cop.
There are many similarities to the Golden State killer that was recently caught by using genealogical DNA.
The Hillside strangles were cousins, it stopped when Bianchi thought he could keep killing without his cousin, he was mistaken and when he got caught he dobbed in his cousin for their Hillside murders
Who is here after seeing the trend no case keeps me awake
My suspicion tells me it was a cop.
Honestly exactly what i was thinking. And if their was any evidence they could destroy it/get rid of it that easily
Do the genetic genealogy I heard that even a very small amount of DNA could help
Didn’t they say they no physical evidence or did I miss something?

I lived very close to the Chan family . So heartbreaking. I still think Karmein’s case was seperate to the mr Cruel cases

Funny accent... 🤣🤣🤣🤣
2 girls from the same Private school. What are the odds. Clearly the Man responsible is connected to the school. Cleary the offender has connection between the northern subs and eastern. Look for links of the teachers and principle if they grew up in Lalor or Thomastown and worked in the East. its also known that the man used British words didn't the principle have a bit of an accent. The offender was clearly educated, moved in circles in which young people were active and knew information about the families. Which would be easy to discover when u worked at the school. Cant be hard to narrow the list down very quickly
The problem with the theory that the offender had to be connected to the private school the last 2 victims attended, is that the 3 July 1990 victim was taken from her home on a Tuesday night, and held for 50 hours, in a normal week of school. This practically rules out any full-time male members of staff who were present at the private school that week.
The theory also doesn’t explain the connection with the 2 state primary school, some miles away, where the other victims were students at.
Now it could be someone who had a grudge against these schools, real or imaginary, or who may have had something to do with them i.e. trades person, parent, coach, ex staff member, etc. But police despite their best efforts never established a connection.
Also it appears the offender was was very comfortable around things electrical and all crime sites were near very high voltage electricity (66 kv) or things unusual that were electrical (pole fittings, transformers, etc). A TV program was done on this in March 2022.
Added to this is that the latest major suspect was a man who made dim sims ... which is about as far from the private school and staff as you can get.
That Mom tho .... 😆 🤣 🤣
?
Wtf get off the internet dude. Making fun of victims is not cool at all. You won't get many "likes" acting like that here.
Murders aren’t always caught. We will never know the number because that are never captured
