I'm sitting in front of the local Dollar General, came back to your DIY before going in. It's the materials for hanging is the question atm. Thank you for your demonstration. That's Amazing, Clear Shower Curtains are so useful, I used them around my Nativity one Year when we had a enormous amount of Rain, they are so much thicker than than Plastic Roll stuff...

Thank you for this! I’m going to try this to create a greenhouse on my porch for winter. Going to put on inside using your method, then add some “windows” for airflow using Velcro tape.
that should work for ya , and much cheaper then other options ,
Duck tape and zip ties, my favorite tools. Would make a great stocking stuffer. Merry Christmas!

That's almost exactly what I did but had to do serious reinforcements on the grommets due to high winds up here in the pnw gorge

I do this with the tape when I have to create my own ‘grommets’ without the benefit of actual grommets.

This is a clever use of shower curtains! Does this add any heat/ keep out the cold to the porch? Could you still have a grill going without having air issues? ❤
There are gaps at the top so it’s not air tight but it keeps the wind out and it warms up nicely when the sun shines

Go to a greenhouse supply store on the internet. Get uvc protected Ted 6 mil very clear plastic film for hoop houses in almost any size, with wiggle wire and wiggle wire holders. This will be the best thing for you to use. Go to youtube and search hoop houses, install wiggle wire. You will be happy with the outcome. Also, it is fairly inexpensive and the film can be taken down each year, it lasts for several seasons.

@@homesteadingwithsadie I prefer your shower curtain method, especially since I'm doing this project by myself. I looked into buying a roll of clear vinyl but for me it's more trouble than it's worth. I want to enclose my porch for the winter, and due to the configuration I'd have to cut different size sheets from the roll. It's kind of a pain to do on your own. I like the idea of buying shower curtains that basically come in pre-cut "sheets."
