The 1 thing everyone who is hating on the ref keeps on forgetting except Nick "Wrong"(haha) is that Dak slid/gave himself up meaning the ball needs to be spotted where he starts to slide not after so the ref needed to push the ball back. That whole offensive line was lined up on the neutral zone if you watch where the ref move the ball back. Plus it's High School Football stuff to hand the ball to the official setting the ball like you're taught

You don't have the official touch the ball. The official has to place the ball. You can't have your center place the ball three yards beyond the start of the slide and then block that official from the ball with your OL. The official starts 10 yards behid Dak on the play (this is normal placement). How does he anticipate a draw and keep up with a world class athlete. At most the official was about 1 second late than you would expect getting to the line. He is then blocked by Dak and the entire OL who have placed the ball down in the wrong spot instead of handing it to the official.

He never had a good defense in his career . He tried to do too much cause he knew his defense was bad . They started to build around tony romo when it was too late when he was already injury prone. Dak doesn’t even come close to tony romo . No where on his level. Yes people are gonna say well Tony romo didn’t win a super bowl and blah blah. He never had a defense in his career never . Look at Aaron Rodgers . As great as he is , he only has 1 super bowl. Why? Cause his defense has failed him the last 10 years ……. I was never sold on dak .. when he replaced tony . But it was the right decision since tony was injury prone already … Tony romo didn’t win many playoff games . But he has HOF numbers . He never had a defense and never had a coach to help him out . Tony had the gunslinger mentality .
Dak doesn’t give his receivers opportunities. He’s too gun shy at times . He looks lost at times . Doesn’t throw the ball downfield . If nothing good is going good in the game , dak isn’t good enough to over come the negative . He needs every piece to be perfect for him to be great

He then tried to shift all the blame on a certain ref. Now he's applauding fans for acting like children, which means they'll likely do it again. He can't play when on his heels, or when it's really on the line and he doesn't have momentum. He does not have the champion mentality. He's a playmaker when everyone else is making plays too. Their numbers this season don't matter. KC, among others, showed who they really are. Personally, I don't believe a professional athlete should be shaken so easily, and this team is full of them. If you watch it back, where they were trying to spot the ball was like 4 yards ahead of the line judge who marks where dark slid. So if the ref wanted he could’ve taken longer moving the ball back but instead tried his hardest to give them a shot. Also the ref had to stay behind the play to watch the line for holding, he wouldn’t have known that it was going to be a qb draw and to start running up the field. *2.) Prescott made no effort to find an official as soon as the whistle was blown. Instead, he spotted the ball himself as if HE was the official. Poor situational awareness on his part.*
*3.) Regardless of what happened in the first 59¾ minutes of the game, Sharpe is absolutely correct about what became the last play of the game. Why didn't Prescott just slide down at the 30 yard line, after getting the first down? On that draw play, it was 2nd down and 2 yards. There was no reason for him to run those extra 6 yards. There's no grand advantage to snapping the ball from the 24 yard line as compared to the 30 yard line. If anything, it gives your receivers an extra step to get more open. Also, it's not a "Hail Mary" either way. If you can't complete a pass into the end zone from the 30 yard line, then you have no business playing in the NFL.*

Here's what a classy QB does, he takes responsibility for the play call even though we all knew he should've just handed it off to Beastmode. He didn't blame Darrel Bevell or Coach Pete, he put it on his shoulders like a leader always does. I don't even have to name the QB, because 100% of the world saw the way he handled that loss, with nothing but class.

I mean the ref can't just touch the ball so you can get going, they have to spot the ball that's their job, and honestly with the slide rules it should have been a yard or two back.

It wasn't the refs fault at all..... know the rules like they said during the game. Don't self spot the ball or have your center spot it then try and hurry up and snap it.... look for the ref and make a path for the ref to do his job. Of course the ref made contact with him... he was trying to do his job and hurry up and spot the ball. Also.. I'm sure the ref was as shocked as everyone else on the planet when Dak and the boys thought a draw with no timeouts would be a brilliant play call.... hahahaha. The trash was significant only bc the Cowboys are trash

The one series they drove down and scored a td is the only time. The rest of the game they just did random run plays here and there.
