LeBron was averaging 34 points 12 rebounds 10 assists 1.5 steals, 1 block on 56% shooting for the entire series for 2 seasons. What more can a human do to get this mans respect? Durant did not save the Warriors. The Warriors beat Durant. Durant needed the Warriors more than the Warriors needed him. Much more. Because GSW would have won it with the addition of any allstar. Became the first player in NBA history to average a triple double in a finals and he lead his team in every category. All at 36 years old. Kevin Durant definitely played outstanding but I wouldn’t say he outplayed Lebron because he didn’t have to do everything for his team like Lebron did.

in 2015 kyrie and love was injured (basically it was bron vs the GSW)
in 2016 it was the first time that kyrie and klove played in a finals series (techinally only love since kyrie got injured in game 1 finals last year prior. GSW got the 3-1 lead)
now if you tell me that GSW had no chance at all and it was imbalance then that just pure nonsense... GSW got back from 3-1 deficit from OKC.. had the best record in regular season history and was basically winning the series until bron and kyrie went off with 40pts in game 5 )

For the most part, I agree with this. However, I do give Kevin Durant a little grace on this because Kyrie Irving is so freaking unstable, and so is Ben Simmons. This entire season would have been about when Ben Simmons is coming back and whether or not Kyrie is pouting because he didn't get a full deal and whether or not the Nets are going to trade Kyrie while he still has value instead of letting him walk next year. I just think it would have been a lot of noise around the Nets, and KD is tired. Say what you want, but KD played hard whenever he was in a Nets uniform. It was his teammate, Kyrie, who failed him. KD is partially to blame for being a follower and not putting his foot down with Kyrie, but at the same time, he knows how Kyrie is, and Kyrie would not have listened to him. There is slight blame on the Nets front office, but at the end of the day, Kyrie messed up the whole plan, and KD is just sick of it. He said himself that knows he only has a few more years to play ball. He is not going to waste it on a bunch of nonsense and moody people who don't want to play. He clearly does not trust Ben Simmons or Kyrie anymore.
