Similar story with Cam Ward last year. Started the season hot; Heisman candidate who came out of nowhere. Then proceed to finish the regular season 3-5 which included losses to UCLA, Arizona, Arizona State, California, and Stanford (at home)

I've been in a tornado 🌪, 2 bad ice storms (where the city was shutdown for over a month) floods & below zero temp° (wind chills feel like razor blades cutting you) numerous times all in Atlanta/ just outside the city limits. This happens every other year in GA as well, those who live here know what's up 👍🏾💯

Miami won, but they relied on VT's stumbling. That dumb field goal fake, bleeding THIRTY SECONDS OF CLOCK with a MINUTE LEFT for no reason, and then wobbly hands by their receiver at the end. Cam Ward and the offense had to put on a Cirque du Soleil variety show just to stay in the game, and their defense couldn't have stopped Stephen Hawking. They were a blast to watch but they are gonna have serious trouble with physical teams down the road unless the defense gets back to their week 1 form.
