The Violin music made it much more badass and epic for me lmao, just the old style music in the background of cannon balls and gunfire, the Violinist made the video better lol
Very nice. Probably the feature I look to the most in Holdfast. The whole array of mechanics make it very pleasing but I hope more credible output of gunnery in the future. Distance damage seems too decisive. Thanks for showing it.

Really depends where these naval battles are supposed to be taking place. Don't think you would find any large sharks off the coast of Spain or something.
Having the powder become wet when falling into the water would certainly make for an interesting mechanic! We can also make it so that it can be toggled on and off by server administrators. Besides the fact of course that this is also land battles or a mixture of both, black wake is navy vs pirates, and revolves around pirate based things like treasure hunting, meanwhile this is navy vs navy, and also boasts additional features like the lifeboats and that specific form of boarding (similar to black wake, though more akin to military style)

seperate smaller maps and different servers, each land battle server can have up to 150 players and naval up to 80 if im not wrong

Diplex when your having a battle with a enemy ship side by side far away shot,just shoot in front of it.Your gonna always miss the shot.

They do have a spyglass! Just press the 'F' key in the game and you're good to go. You can also equip a lantern with the 'G' key. :)
