  • You might be getting views, but being considered an expert is a different thing.
You need to be part of the conversation.
That conversation happens with you start building relationships on this platform.
Many founders disconnecting after posting their content, expecting engagement to happen automatically.
    1. You can't expect to take from the platforms and not give anything back.
    2. The platforms are designed to benefit those who spend time building communities.
Learn the power of active participation on social platforms - Let's start simple:
    1. Engage by replying to and leaving comments through the day (insight / professional humour / support / debate)
    2. Create a list of 10-20 thought leaders (Experts in the same field, experts in same category but different type of offer, and experts with an audience of your ICP). Put there links in a google sheet and turn on their notifications to be reminded to engage when posts go up. (Also, I’ve been hearing about an engagement tool called Aware - need to check it out).
Here are some other common pitfalls I've noticed:
    - **Over-Promotion**: Provide value and building relationships first.
    - **Inconsistency**: Irregular posting can diminish audience engagement.
    - **Neglecting Analytics**: Adjust your strategy based on the data says.
    - **Ignoring Feedback**: Be open to feedback from your audience. It can provide valuable insights into how to improve your approach.
    - **Brand Misalignment**: Ensure your strategic narrative in the content supports your company's messaging and offer. Inconsistency = confusion = skepticism
    - **Insightful content only**: You want people to want to come back for more.
    LinkedIn requires a give-and-take approach.
Are you ready to be as active a listener as you are a speaker?
