I first saw Colosseum live at the Hollywood Festival (UK) in 1970! Amazing band. Have all their albums and CDs but love Lost Angeles so much so I could play it on a tape loop!
Colosseum live is a phenomenal and forgotten jewel!! A regular listen at the house and that early dave greenslade stuff..thanks for the music!! Killer job
Great video from a fantastic concert, it would be fine to see old friends again. It was this year the unique gig in germany. Some in the U.K. will follow. The new members very fine together with the old members Clem Clempson & Mark Clarke feat. the legendary Chris Farlowe. All have only a short time playing together before, no one gig before. Fantastic audience at this evening, they honored the possibility to make this happen to the band and Uwe Mamminga, owner of the Downtown Bluesclub Hamburg. Thankyou Tony for this nice impression and sharing with us. I hope we will see them again early next year.
Just came across fabulous performance from an Amazing band. I saw them in the late 60s when Jon Hiseman was leading them and they didn’t have vocalist at the time. They were just something else. Thanks for uploading this excellent video. The sound is brilliant for a live set. Did you record more of this song?
Brave man to step into the shoes of Jon Hiseman ...... probably the best rock drummer the world has ever known.
I saw Colosseum twice live. One of the best bands I ever saw. Great songs and performance.
Tolle Qualität. Danke
so great, we see us in September in Hamburg again. 🙂And I'm sure my daughter will be the youngest auditor at the next concert 🙂
Chris Farlowe is still very much in voice at the age of 81.
oh, my God! Szuper! Lajos
One of my all time favourite bands.
Thank you so much for this!
Cheers 😊😎🎸🇺🇦

Colosseum - for me one of the best bands. Great music ! I saw them last week in Dortmund!
"Come Right Back" Colosseum. An excellent set and recording. On top form and full of energy.
Great band. Long live. I saw in Budapest, amaizing concert. Greetings from Transsilvania, Romania.
Achterbahnfahrt in die hohe Kunst der Rockmusik. Colosseum is back! Can´t wait.
Nice Keith Emerson's quote at 1:06...😍

un altro capolavoro di un gruppo mitico!
Sounds really good, thank you for sharing!
Mein Her geht auf. Hisemann und Greenslade R.I.P
Dave Greenslade ist 79 und noch unter uns! Er hat sich nur vom Stress der Live Auftritte zurückgezogen.
Want to hear Take Me Back To Doomsday! Sounds amazing.

What happened to Dave Greenslade and Barbara Thompson?
Barbara died quite recently. Dave is still with us but not well enough to tour.
excellent, but Mark needs to do something with his hair
