Just to know, what is the meta build for vet ? I play a supportive version with "voice of command" and "focus target" but I wonder if there's something more versatile
@@user-bq3yd6vi7h the common meta build is either just bring plasma rifle, weapon spec revolver or marksman focus CIAG. grenade spam is a meme about the 4th keystone being the 5% grenade chance on killing elite/spec and the revolver one has great break points if you can swap through melee and ranged quickly gaining kills to reach 100% crits. plasma is just over powered and can be run on any build for anything and the CIAG can be swept over a hordes head to almost double your damage output which is the opposite of what the intended use of the keystone is.
the meta is the the Columnus autogun for every character cus its the most broken gun in the game and nothing can compete with it. you take the frag nades, then grab the damage, ammo, crit, and stamina perks. take the weapon swap keystone and ur a beast on adderall@@user-bq3yd6vi7h
My build is at the end of the video can I just say how painful it is that the poxwalkers that appear during the gas phase can't be targets for Disrupt Destiny? I felt like a psyker with no talents allocated lmao. anyway yeah the accatran sucks and disrupt destiny sucks and gun psyker needs a lot of love
Gun psyker is horrible vs twins sadly. But it's crazy strong in normal and aulric. My recommendation is the cumulus v rifle. Or has a good fire rate and a fantastic critical hit rate and it's only sightly weak in damage.
Heavy LasPistol X with Ghost and Infernus is quite fun for popping heads. Slap flak 25% on it and watch your laspistol melt maulers as for whatever reason it's very easy to get critical hits with it so Infernus is very common. I usually run with Deimos, BB as my blitz and Empowered Psionics though I may change that as I hardly use BB blitz itself, usually it just triggers every few seconds with the BB upgrade for a cool free 1k+ damage to whatever I'm shooting at. The main reason I choose LasPistol is for excellent ammo economy and high mobility to compliment the sluggish Deimos mobility. Usually I'm running with other classes that depend on ammo like Vet and Ogryn so ammo often gets scarce, it certainly helps that LasPistol can pack a nice punch against most enemies except Crushers. I'll usually run Scrier as my ability for extra finesse, speed and damage with that one talent that increases toughness damage reduction the higher my peril is in combination with the talent that regens my toughness for peril generated. The goal for the build is the further I go into Scrier's Gaze the more damage I put out and the tankier I get. It certainly deals out stupid amounts of damage but I have to consistently remind myself that I'm still a glass cannon cause those ragers will occasionally sneak in and knock me out while I'm chomping away at hordes
@@michaelkolano8686 You don't shoot them in the head, you shoot them in the chest where they have flak armor. Flak armor is significantly more abundant than carapace armor, by going carapace de buff you are taking up a valuable perk slot and limiting yourself. LasPistol still crits them in the chest and procs Infernus, it reminds me of watching Kenobi shoot Grievous in the chest and him catching on fire. Very satisfying...
Theyre using crits, which do ok damage, and burn on crit, which does damage if you ignore them after. Its garbage dps but I guess its ok if youre on the side away from other people and just dodge long enough for the burn to kill things. Its basically using scriers for only applying burn stacks when a proper surge staff would have melted all those maulers way faster with scriers, its a passive build instead of actively removing targets. I guess its fine if you normally find yourself away from your team fighting mixed hordes alone but even with stupid crit chance on vet its just a worse option to alternatives.
@I.IdentifyAsAnAttackHelicopter you have all that charge time to check it, void takes forever to charge and surge barely uses any peril so you can check every 2-3 casts. I see too many people just pop it and let it go to 100, with a staff you can drop it back to 0 in a second and keep firing
gun psyker CAN do alot of damage but ask yourself this: What can a gun psyker offer a team which a veteran can' do but better? Imo it's a meme build which just takes all the ammo from your team mates. I've seen very few players do well on gun psyker.
