Well, that's a new one...blowing the snow off your vehicle with a leaf blower!! Who'd have thought? 😄!! And in shorts...in January!! 🤣!! Yeah, great new ride. And a good color too. We got a heavier snow over here by Springfield. It'll take me another day to get all shoveled out. Darn, wish I had a leaf blower ☹️.
Never thought I'd own a leaf blower, but it came as a twin-pack with a weed-wacker I bought this summer and I've honestly had way too much fun with it hahah
Congrats on the new Suburu! I'm thinking about going to that when my 2007 Outlander dies (188k). You clean your car off with style, I gotta say! shorts? check. pool shoes? check. leaf blower!! check! And, we were the only ones to see "the hands"... LOL
I definitely recommend Subarus! I rented a car on a family trip in 2017 and ended up getting a Subaru Forester and I fell in love. Knew it would be my next car… and then my next! I’ll admit this was the first time I tried out this new snow blowing method 😅 got the leaf blower as a twin pack with a weed wacker this summer ha!
As someone just south of you, my view of the storm was being without power or heat from Sunday afternoon until late in the morning Monday. Things get really cold when it is 22° F in pitch black dark, and the house getting rapidly colder. This is the last time I am not fully prepared for a winter/ice storm.
@AndrewPritchard don't get me wrong, it's absolutely beautiful. The weather pattern was fascinating as it slowly crept forward. I just appreciate it a whole lot more when it's warm inside and lights are on! 😂
New Subie looks nice
I'm obsessed with it hahah

All the best in 2025 with your storm chasing Andrew.
Thank you!
@@AndrewPritchard Sweet new car! That is a dream car for me.
Sure is nostalgic to see my childhood city all covered in snow. Stay warm out there!
Sure will! Thanks for following along!

YIKES! Folks love to complain locally when we don't get nailed by a winter storm but we forget just how bad things can get!

It's so important to have a reliable car. You better avoid large hail though.
I sure will!
