Love this video. FYI Ruggedmade support can send you an assembly video (same as the youtube video) that you can upload to your device so you don't need internet where you are assembling regarding the points you brought up about the RuggedSplit Assembly youtube video. Happy splitting!
Good review Mr. Lee. Good thing you’ll only spend the money (hopefully) once…. That’s a smart mindset. Remember, kids, “Cheap people pay twice!” Don’t be cheap, be like Mr. Lee…be smart… (and drink water!) 😂
By the way, this splitter looks to be pretty awesome. I love the lift mechanism! Definitely a back saver! This will prove to be an exponential return on your investment simply from saving the pain and time lost due to hurt back and injuries (and the doctor bills that could follow). Really like this machine! Keep on trucking on the homestead!
Would like to learn more about selling this machine as part of a small engine mechanic and rugged made dealer located in the heart of the Midwest where these machines are ideal for our hardwoods and for the prices
I would recommend emailing RuggedMade. They were very responsive to me when I had questions and seem to be great people. Hope it works out for you and thanks for dropping by.
Nice video, new subscriber here. I’m looking to upgrade my log splitter here soon and I feel like for 5k that’s a great value. Can’t justify the price of a eastonmade or other big splitter brand now.
We’ve split about 15 cords for ourselves with it so far. It is a beast. Only down side is all your friends will want to borrow it when they see it work…LOL. Glad you enjoyed the video and thanks for subscribing.
If it is already bucked and I’m not rushing, I’d say I could do a face cord in about 20-30 minutes. I have all our wood stacked up and my IBC totes staged, if I’m pushing it, I can knock a cord out in about 10-15 minutes.

😂“ Buy once cry once”. A great investment that will pay for itself over time. Great review 😊
Indeed! Thank you!

I’m still working on the water part…but coffee is made with water. 🙂

Coffee is a very important part of the cool weather, wood splitting process for sure!
I think I'd like to buy this splitter. Thanks for the honest review. It seems like people are very happy with these for the $$.
It is a powerhouse. I am not easy on my equipment but this thing is taking everything I’m putting it through. Buy once, cry once.
That's a clever use of the IBC tote for wood storage. About how much wood would you say it holds?
While we haven’t measured it exactly, I’ve seen others say it is a face cord.

How long would you estimate you alone to split 1 cord of firewood?

@@BlueBellyAcres wow that's fast and mine just came in today. Looking foward to putting it together and putting it to work.
