Hotel used in the opening credits of classic Hawaii Five-0 with Jack Lord.
Also was scene in various episodes of this classic police procedural show.
I was a 12-year-old visiting my grandmother while the pilot movie was being filmed. Got to watch Jack Lord as I hid with a friend right in the middle of the shot, hiding behind some large potted plants during an outdoor cafe scene.

We've stayed there a dozen times, it's more like our home away from home when on the island visiting my folks who live on O'ahu...You forgot to mention every Friday nights theres fireworks in front of Duke's Lagoon. One time, we watched it twice since we stayed longer. You forgot to mention the conch man lighting up the torches around around 5pm....Well, you all just have to go there and enjoy :-) Aloha!

The Ilikai Hotel building is approximately a 5-minute walk to the beach. It is an easy walk, following one path. We did not book through Airbnb, so best to check with them. If you book directly through Ilikai Hotel, I do know that access to both pools is included. Have a great time on your travels!
My family was there 10 years ago a d seeing this brought some happy memories. Unfortunately, there was no room tour, which is very important. Was this made my the Ilikai or a tourist?

We’re is the nearest ABC store?
We believe the closest would be in the Hilton Hawaiian Village (next hotel/resort over). There are two in Hilton Hawaiian Village (one facing the street and one closer to the main lobby). It’s probably just under a 5 minute walk. Google maps will be able to give you the guaranteed closest! Have a great trip.
