Brother, in Arabic, Jesus is an اله but he is NOT الله And *I think but not sure* that the same goes for english Jesus (a.s) and buddah and idols etc. every single one of them is a god but not God Only Allah is (the) God god with small g means something worshipped, it can be anything (humans (like Jesus), animals (like cows are worshipped by some hindus), idols, fire (by al majuus) etc. and Allah is worshipped too so Allah is an "اله" . But! Only one god deserves worship: God (ie. The Creator) This is what we say in the Shahadah لا إله إلا الله There is no god (worthy of worship) EXCEPT Allah And Allah is the Creator so He for sure deserves worship So saying Jesus is not god is wrong but saying Jesus is not God is correct

How is that the Prophet (pbuh) came to know about the Yahudis fasting achoura only a year before he passed away when we know he stays with them for many years ? And is there today any Yahudi who still fasting that day to proof to us that they use to fast it ? For it to be right it has to be a teaching from Musa (pbh) to them, and they kept practicing from the time of Musa until the time of Nabi Muhammad (pbuh) still there should be today at least a few people form them doing it, I ask that because fasting the 9th and 10th is to differentiate from them fasting only the 10th, do they still fast the 10th like in Prophet’s time ? Help me understand please.

Can we then use this knowledge to correct some reformist muslims who say we are allowed to join in on the celebrations and incorporate their practices based on the fact that prophet (saw) fasted AFTER seeing jews fast.
