- One of My favorite Blonde Hollywood Inspirations, Jayne Mansfield! This excerpt is from the movie Kiss Them for Me starring Jayne Mansfield and Cary Grant, she even outshines Cary Grant in their scenes together and I've never seen anyone else steal the scene from Cary Grant! Love how she is holding 'Fortune' magazine!

Hilarious. Jayne's the best. She looks amazing in that outfit. You don't even notice anyone else in the scene.
Not only she was gorgeous she was very smart and educated.
La bella madre de Olivia Benson.
I've seen Jayne Maynsfield in boatloads of photos and videos, but THIS tops every one of them. This is her MOST GORGEOUS by far!!! 150% Rest in gorgeous peace, Jane Maynsfield 💕💕💕💕💕
Absolutely gorgeous. I love how she says “if I may be so bold” 😀
What a gorgeous looking woman
Jayne looks simply ravishing in this scene from Kiss them for me. Ahh lovely Jayne. Da-Voom💋💋💋
amazing clothes sad she passed so young
Jayne Mansfield was alledgedly very intelligent -- she just played dumb. One source claims she spoke five languages.
Played Violin and Piano too
You're right I didn't realized it was Cary Grant until about 1:47.Power of gorgeous Jayne.
…. Cary who? All eyes on Ms. Mansfield!!
omg I didn't even notice him!!! lmao!
Never forgot her kindness.Missed by all who were lucky to meet her,an laugh with her.Giod memories she left ue all.
Wonderful dress
I WANT that DRESS!
I so love how Jayne presents that bra and girdle look, and love how she walks. And her hair style is so wonderful (damn, where can I find a wig like that?) Too bad the movie bombed at the box office, so much talent but it seems this was thrown together without much preparation for a good script.
Yesss! I also love her coat! She still shines in this movie, but 'Will Success Spoil Rock Hunter' is probably my favorite.
What a stunning dress. Women had such incredible figures in the 1950's
Lesley Lawrence there’s a lot of movie magic built into that dress.
Didnt they wear girdles?
@@schannstewart9385 It definitely looks like there's construction in the waist, maybe a corset but hard to tell.
@@ComaLies225 its definetely corserty involved women dont have figures like that naturally
They are wearing things to make it seen that way
The most beautiful woman who ever existed
Agreed. Hottest women ever!
Quintessence of pin up girl. She is like hottest of the hottest
When she takes the coat off...epic
Jayne Mansfield 😍😍😍 love her saaaaa much
It gradually dawned on me that this was supposed to taking place during World War II, when nylon stockings were very hard to get and were therefore prized by women.
She was a nice-looking woman..alot of people don't know about her like they know Marilyn Monroe..cool clip
Girl's smokin 🔥
Jayne was Awesome
Marilyn, Jayne and Mamie 🤍🤍🤍🤍
Jayne
Colonel Klink!!
I don't know if it's natural, but her demenaour looks exactly like Marilyn Monroe's. Seems like the executives wanted to repeat the latter's success by imitation.
She was intent to sabotage Marilyn Monroe..
@@janetduncan87 Marilyn sabotaged herself.
Exactly. Many of Mansfield's mannerisms are uncomfortably close to those of MM's persona. My opinion is that MM was the real actress, who did not always perform brilliantly early in her career (she was learning her craft, and SHE was brilliant), but always strove to create a true expression through acting, song and dance.
Both of them were pin up models. So they both resemble the pinup model demeanor of being sexual with just about everything. Pin-up model being equivalent with contemporary glamour models in bikini or topless.
I've seen some interviews with Mansfield, and she said that Marilyn was her idol and she wanted to be just like Marilyn. I think that's evident in this clip!😆😆

That, ye girls of Instagram photoshop world, is what a real babe looks like.
1:31 that's the guy that's in I Love Lucy all the time!
OMG the babes in the 50's were so hot
This film was rubbish in my opinion i only watched it for the Jayne scenes who looks amazing.
50s bodies were perfection, human Barbie dolls with tiny waists
Unfortunately for Jayne, the dumb blonde roles can only last for so long - actually, she was better in The wayward bus where she didn't really play a ditzy blonde - this character in this particular movie, 'kiss them for me' was a duplicate of her two previous roles, 'the girl can't help it' and 'will success spoil rock hunter' and after a while, it became too repetitious - and I think Jayne knew it too.
Yes. All of her major roles were carbon copies of the other. I think after this, she was pregnant and didn't appear in any more films in Hollywood for a few years. She started getting shipped off to Europe for the cheap films.
I Take J.M. Over M.M. Any Day. May They R.I.P.
2:42 her legs look fine!!
Perfect!
I know she's wearing heels but she must be tall anyway to nearly reach cary grant
Jayne was 5 feet 6 inches.
Colonel Klink needs his monocle
I’m telling you, if Mariska Hartigay died her hair blonde, she’d be her moms twin
That what I think
I watched Mariska ,She looks like her Mum ,her smile ,the way She laughs ,her nose, eyes, her lips
you can lure women with nylon? great times...
😊
I guess women were cheap then😊
I always thought she was prettier than Marilyn Monroe
definitely
She was imitating Marilyn Monroe.
That was what the movie executives wanted. She wasn't as pretty as Marilyn. Jayne Mansfield died young, too.
@@fraser_mr2009 She was million times prettier than M. And had flawless figure and long legs, not short ugly things. Even if she imitated still was much more talented and genuine
Marilyn Monroe's bleached hair never looked as good as Jayne's did here. She is STUNNING here. You cannot take your eyes off her.
Wtf
They both look alike
This movie was downfall.
Of Jayne's career? Yes it was.
It's like lady gaga trying to be a Madonna 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Not one of Cary Grant's good films, for me at least...
It proves that curve doesn't work that well unless you're Marilyn Monroe!
and unfortunately for jayne playing a dumber "dumb blonde" didn't work... she was "too much" in every way for film audiences.. didn't have the screen charisma and magic that marilyn had....
WHAT???? Jayne was the queen of sex she was a beauty and she was at one point in her career just as big Marilyn only difference was Marilyn didn’t die down Jayne did
tom schmitz Jayne was way too obvious. And you could tell she was playing dumb. It was a gross caricature. She didn’t have the charm Marilyn had.
Jayne was just as beautiful and talented as Marilyn
Those curves are working for me. Hard to take your eyes of her.
As far back as I can remember I got the impression that Mansfield (and probably stating the obvious) was a shameless exhibitionist with no smarts or talent who boxed herself into a corner career wise so as not to ever be taken seriously (and be viewed as a joke). Sorry but I don't get her appeal.
