With the right science, you can make it flyable.I built a scaled up 737 model, you had on your channel,I added RC electronic’s to it, and flew very well, just had some small balancing issues to fix. Thank you for your entertaining videos

I've been waiting for this for sooooo long too. Thats why I only made the Iron Maiden's 757 from paper replika. That design is awful and I really wanted a better model. But nobody wanted to design the 757, so I did it by my own. Curiously by the same time Murphs models did a 757, however is a paid model and I dont like paid models

Oh Im glad to hear that. My goal was to make something different and easier to understand, sometimes instructions in PDF files are not as clear as we expect, so I though it was a better option to make a video

What type of paper did you use?
Q-Tip shafts. Excellent strut shafts. If they are a tad skinny, wrap some copy bond around them. Liquid CA turns them into little plastic (acrylic) rods that are easy to “machine”. Pencil would mark them up quite nicely. Pen bleeds.

Well, BFO! The tooth pick to level the formers is so obvious, I never thought about it. I get all wrapped around the axel cutting holes in the bulkheads so I can wiggle in a finger. What elegance! The washers to weight the nose down. Elegance again! Such beautiful work. I’d love to see how you do the intake turbine blades. I have not yet had the courage to poly spray a hull either. What are you using?

yo estoy usando silicon, lo puedes ir fundiendo y queda transparente como resina, me ha salido un poco arrugado pero es por mis errores de armado. tambien espero tomar practica o si se de algun pegamento que funcione en papel te aviso... quisa lo penses en seguir usando

I traced most of the template out, i like how it turned out. I did get lazy when making the engines, also i didnt make the gears.
When will the A380 be released?
I'm finally working on it. The model is finished, but I must build the video. Even the instructions video is finished, however I'll spend a lot of time I guess because I'll install LED lights like I did with the Emirates 777

Thank you very much, I love the 757. I work as an aircraft mechanic. We always perform our job in accordance with the aircraft maintenance manual. The maintenance manual has so many diagrams and blueprints that I used to as a reference to get this model
@@Hermercraft Ahh, very nice to know! I do make airplane models too, from cardboard, but it always is just one model of a type ,,custom-like" because i don't design the model digital first like you. And every time with making a model, i struggle really hard with templates and blueprints, because on most of them there aren't as much details as one needs, for example the flaps or the main wing spar and many other necessary things are not described. Or the exact composition of the fuselage. And some blueprints are not exactly accurate, then you don't know which one really is the original that you should go with. Also the Blueprints in the "Aircraft Characteristics for Airport Planning" from the manufacturers themselves, where you should be able to trust the accuracy, aren't deatailed enough as well.
I e.g. made a model of a 757 too (in the Nothwest livery), and also that of a 787-9, which istnt finished yet, because of the lack of trustable and detailed blueprints.
Again, however, this 757 template you made looks very good with so many details, the front landing gear for example is highly impressive. There also was a 757 paper model of United flight 93, i suppose you've seen that, but yours is even better i think.
@@hansmeyer6236 oh yes, in my opinion one of the hardest things is to get enough material (nice material) for reference. The blueprints that you get in Google are so bad, they doesn't have any reference of fuel panels, access panels, and any other good reference. Thankfully I got the 757 Maintenance manual. And yes there is a 757 papercraft from paper replika United livery but it's soooo bad, I only built it once with Iron Maidens livery but the model itself is so bad that I decided not to waste time repainting and building it
@@Hermercraft Consider yourself a lucky man with having the 757 manual! Yes and even the "official" material from boeing, where you can at least be sure that the general dimensions and porportions are correct, i.e. the "aircraft manual for airport planning" lacks the references as fuel panels and so on. It is really hard to do what you want to do with such poor material.
There is this guy, who builds a 77W from manila folders, maybe you know him. I ask myself how he gets all those details right.

It is 120-180 grams paper. I use 180 and it has worked well for me.

Sadly, it broke, even if I put the formers they weren't strong enough so it got crushed. It was one of my longest lasting papercraft before getting scrapped. I'm making it now
