The hills are alive... With the sounds of music... That exhaust tone is incredible. And the views. WOW! More rides like this please, for every project bike. Love it!
I had a V-50 ll for a few years. it was fun ringing its neck, which is what you had to do to keep ahead of the cars. A motorcycle mechanic/buddy of mine had a V 50 also. He had a valve problen while 200 miles from home alone..To get home, he pulled the oil pan..He removed the rod/piston for that cylinder ..He put stainless radiator clamps around the bearings for that rod on the crankshaft to maintain oil pressure. He put the machine back together, and drove at home as a single cylinder 250. He said it vibrated more than any paint shaker on earth but it did make it home..
I like the rumble of that v-twin. And looks like the Guzzi corners well. Awesome....been few times in Austria at Faakersee on a Harley. Like to drive in the mountains as we in Holland don't have them here.
MGs typically have a nice engine/exhaust tone but yours was very very nice! Maybe it was the recording but it didn't sound too loud yet very deep. Enjoy your sweet ride and keep the rubber side down!
I used megaton pipes with selfmade dB Killers in it. Otherwise it would be too loud. Here's the link: www.caferacerwebshop.com/en/megaton-silencer-reverse-cone-chrome.html
Very nice video, amigo! Can you tell something about how you think the V50 is behaving in the corners? And did you ever feel any underpowerment? To me, the 500cc seems enough. Nevertheless, I am in contact to buy a V65 which is for sale. Your video makes me feel like buying instantly and riding her tomorrow! Lovely grummmm when closing throttle!
Butch 103 Thank‘s mate! The V50 is a lovely little bike. It has enough power to smoothly accelerate out of every corner and is very calm to ride. You nearly always have enough torque. The only place where you run out of power is on highways. You really don‘t want to push her beyond 120 km/h, it just doesn‘t feel right. If the V65 is in good condition, catch it!
@@christophsimma4267 Awesome. DIY, the way I like it too. Do you have some sort of MOT/TUV on bikes in Austria? In the Netherlands we don't so everything is possible.
Actually we have pretty rough laws for motorcycle modifications here in Austria. So you basically can't mount anything on it without registration from the TUV. That's why you can't really modify anything on the frame or the suspension and all the new parts you use need an e-number on it. So it's pretty difficult to build a good looking machine here, that's why it's pretty important to use a nice donor-bike, but I think the Moto Guzzi was the perfect choice :)

That is one of the best sounds I have ever heard. Period. I WANT ONE NOW.
Super nice build and what a great sound!

Sweet. That is pretty much what it's all about. Great bike, great road.

never let that bike die!

@Bunnyshooter 223 I agree. Usually one overpowers the other. Also, the scenery was beautiful!

Neophobia Garage Stimme dir zu! Finde auch die Guzzi etwas besonderer wie die tausenden umgebauten Bmw‘s :)
man you build beautiful bikes I so last video amazing
Great video! Wo war das?
spettacolo!
You are lucky , just to be living there
At 2:30-2:40 like Steve McQueen, The Great Escape!
Excellent ride, and great sound from the V50! IS that the Tirol?
Fantastic! What exhaust pipes do you have?
Yhanks for sharing.

Too fast for me. But I am doing this soon.
Beautiful, but so fast in that road is very danger, I think...
wow love this bike

Richtig schönes Motorrad. Darf ich fragen welche Aupuffrohre du montiert hast?

Thanks, Chritophe. Have fun and stay safe.
Nice hooning around mate! Cool sounding bike too. Any DB killers or dampers in your megaton exhausts?
Thank you! I made a dB Killer by myself and also a bit of steelwool, otherwise it would be way too loud.
