I am familiar with Darbari renderings by Nishat's father and brother (Imrat & Irshad Khan), and with Vilayat Khan's Darbari recordings (two of them exist, I have listened them so many times). This is sooo Vilayat Khan style of playing Darbari, you could easily convince me it is an old, just discovered recording of Ustadji Vilayat Khan playing himself. Long live Etawah Imdadkhani gharana and gayaki ang. Vilayat and Imrat Khan are no more, Nishad, Irshad, Shujaat and others are still recording, but they are not young anymore. Do you happen to know anything about next generation? Do these fellas have any stageworthy offspring, to continue the tradition? Regards, Benjamin
