No subscription! This app does not record. It's just a viewer. If you have an NVR with a hard drive, you will be able to watch recordings from your NVR using the app.

I have found that 'auto-tracking' cannot be enabled when VCA features are in effect. As you mentioned, there are too many 'motion detection' alarms (even when sensitivity is set to low (example, when it is snowing) so this would have been a great solution. Do you know why auto-tracking/VCA cannot be enabled together?
I got told that my O2 nvr is actually uniview, is that correct? Asking because my p2p service stopped working some time ago, just assumed that the o2 server was shut down. Thank you Martin

The owner said not to worry, since it is not connected. Trying to figure out the TV, I did find the camera channel, showing the surroundings. Now, how do I know he is really not recording? All I could find out is: - 4 unv cam life feed (one pointing at private area) - blue colored clapperboard signs on each right upper corner - a receiver (XVR391-08G3) blue light on, red light blinking - a connected harddrive Really hope you can help me out here. Yes, you can connect any number of cameras to your EZCloud account, and they'll all show up in the app. They don't have to be on the same system. If you have a 4-channel NVR with 4 cameras connected to it and add 2 or 3 cameras to your property, you won't be able to add the additional cameras to the NVR, but you can add the cameras directly to your EZCloud account to have them show up in your app.
Love the app. Wish there was a way to have app sound an audible alarm on phone when camera detects motion (like a Ring doorbell chimes on phone when it detects motion or an actual doorbell press). Have been successful setting up an audible alarm on my NVR to sound when motion is detected, but not on phone. I do receive the non-audible notifications on phone, but they're too passive when I'm away from the house/business.
@@billripley Have yet to be successful getting that set up on my Android. All other audible notifications for other apps are fairly simple to set up or disable. With that said, was able to set up audibles on NVR and was unable to tweak for specific movements - it was going off all the time. So, I disabled it. Too much trouble. But, thanks.

Good video. I have a issue were I can't access my cameras remotely using the ez view app but the cloud is showing my NVR online. I can view the cameras on the app if I am on the same wifi network as the NVR. Any ideas what the problem could be with that? Thanks
How did you add the NVR to your app? If you used the IP address instead of the P2P address, you'd only have access to the cameras while you're connected to the same network. The P2P ID, which is what populates when you scan the QR code, should give you remote access. If you used the QR code or the P2P ID and you're still having the same issue, let us know!

Great question! Usually you will have to use the NVRs remote viewing software on your PC. Uniview uses "EZStation". If you are using a different brand than Uniview, you will use their respective softwares.
In the lower left hand corner of the playback view/screen you can enable audio. if you don't see the audio icon, just tap in the lower left hand corner and it will become visible.
Hello, I have a client experiencing a 6 minute delayed video feed on the app. A break in occurred, they got alerted and checked the feed and didn't see anything happening. Meanwhile the crooks were getting in... Any thoughts as to why this would happen and how to resolve it? It was fine at one point.
Does it work at all? Can they see the feeds when they're connected to the same network, or does it show as offline all the time? Or does the NVR not connect to the app at all?

my sicko neighbour smashed my CCTV cameras, and so i need to supply only the 'criminal' actions to the police but the clips downloaded from the NVR are too long including unnecessary footage - the police just want the clip of the when the cameras were damaged - any ideas of how I can clip the footage other than via my phone. I have the footage downloaded on a USB stick. Thank you in advance
My ezview showed offline, how do i fix it? The technician who installed it said tht the ezview company started to shut my cloud's device down, so he reccomend i buy new device. Is tht true? Or he just tried to scam me, since he got username and passw to reset the nvr.

If the camera is plugged into the back of the NVR, then that is valid! As the camera is segregated from the local network. Once you add the NVR to the app, you should see any cameras that are added to the NVR.
Could be many reasons! Are you recording to the camera with edge storage or with your NVR? Do you have a recording schedule set up? Has the hard drive in your NVR or the SD card in your camera been initialized? If you purchased your system from us, you can give us a call and we can help walk you through the troubleshooting.

I have found that 'auto-tracking' cannot be enabled when VCA features are in effect. It's a limitation for sure, especially on some of our lower end PTZs. Our dual lens PTZ and some of the higher end PTZs do not have this limitation.

You should be able to enable notification sounds on your phone for 'push notifications'

You can send QR codes to share devices w/ permissions and a time window of how long they can access the system.

If this is Uniview then in the schedule for the cameras there should be an audio storage option that needs to be enabled to store the audio.

Oh no! Sorry to hear about those issues. It sounds like it might be an upload issue with their Internet. Do you know which NVR they're using?
hi, after installed the UNV WIFI KIT but my customer can't use the phone app to surveil (can you guys teach me with the solution?)

The EZView app is only compatible with Uniview products. It does not support 3rd party cameras.

No they definitely aren't shutting down the cloud. More than likely it needs to be shared again or something else is going on.
