Thanks Dr. Rafia for your message. The new policy puts some restrictions on papers by editorial team. According to HEC an institution is a university or DAI. We can discuss this issue in detail any time.

Sir why hec is giving category x to some impact factor journals

In the new hjrs system they have used their own scoring system based on 6 meaures from WOS and Scopus. Impact Factor is only one measure.

Dear Dr. Sahib, there are many journal ranking systems but HEC used the 2 most common covering most of the journals.

Dr sb, before june 2018, Z category was acceptable for BPS appointment in social sciences, atleast. Would a paper published before june 2018 be counted for BPS appointment now? As at the time of publication, this was acceptable. Plz guide
