Do you have to create a Creative for each Line Item when it came from the same Ad Network anyway? Or can the creative correspond to one Order for all the line items in it?
Have you ever come across this error? "Overbooking warning: Line item There is not enough inventory to guarantee that this line item will meet its delivery goal. Booking this line item might also cause other line items in the network to underdeliver." We are getting it when we add a second ad size for different creatives on an order item. We don't know what it means.
That means, based on your historical data, Google predicted that you won’t meet the delivery goal you’ve set in the line item (e.g volume of impressions). I would normally just override or proceed and ignore the error. Hope this helps.
Thank you very much for these tutorials. They helped me to set up everything on ad manager. I wanted to try the ad manager to get the ability to display the banners from my sponsors, show Adsense when there are no sponsor banners to show, and possibly find other ways to increase the ad revenue. I don’t like Adsense as it mostly shows the ads that are not related to the niche of my blog and the revenue it provides seems to be ridiculously low. For instance I have a quality automotive blog, I want to show only automotive product/service related ads and get in front of the advertisers in this niche. Is there any ad network or other solution I can use to achieve it?
Hi Matt! Sounds like you wanted AdSense to run as a fallback. Depending on your agreement with your sponsors, you can try setting them up on Price Priority and set the CPM rate at a very high rate (eg. $30) and you can set impression cap. Run AdSense on Dynamic Allocation so it only fills when it can pay the highest bid. If you set your Sponsored line items at a high rate, it will be hard for adsense to beat that. If you qualify, you might want to consider partnering with MonetizeMore.com as well or check out University.pubguru.com.
Hey Kate, thank you so much for the effort you put into this. Please don't ever stop.

Each line item should have corresponding creatives behind it. If you don't upload a creative it will display an error in GAM "needs creatives"

I created an order but have not yet put in any line items. How do I change the end time to unlimited?
Unlimited is only available for Price Priority line item.
