Some context: This cinematic is described as "Past, Present, and Possible Futures." The scene with Kayle, Morgana, and Aatrox is set centuries ago in ancient Demacia (the magic racism nation). Aatrox is a Darkin who wants to destroy the world so he can finally die, and Kayla and Morgana are the twin Aspects of Justice. Here, you can see that where Kayle embraces her divine heritage (Aspect mother, mortal father) and shuns her humanity, Morgana is hesitant and prefers to use her dark (but not evil) magics to bind Aatrox. Put simply, Kayle is absolute justice (i.e. basically every crime is punishable by death) whereas Morgana believes in compassion and second chances. The second scene is with Yasuo, who is an old man in this timeline. The official line from Riot is that this is a vision sent to Yasuo by Kindred (the Lamb and Wolf who are a spirit of death). It is a "possible future," but not the future. In the end, the arrow that flies toward him is the arrow of Lamb, which is for those who accept their death, as Yasuo does here. Finally, the last scene is in the present day. Tryndamere was fighting off members of the Winter's Claw tribe and was severely wounded, whereupon he entered his Undying Rage (blood magic that makes him basically immortal). Here, he is shown to be fighting off Kindred because he has not accepted that he will die that day. Kindred are composed of Lamb and Wolf. Lamb grants the mercy of her arrows to those who accept their death, whereas Wolf hunts down those who run from their death. In the end, Kindred relent because Tryndamere is saved by Ashe, his Oathsworn (basically a political marriage, but they started to grow feelings for each other after a while). It's actually hinted that the battle with Kindred was in Tryndamere's mind, and in reality, he was fighting off the Winter's Claw, but he saw it as fighting off literal Death.
Awesome reaction! This type of season cinematic usually comes in the first or second week of every january. This is the list of the cinematics, if you wonder: 2018 The Climb (no lyrics song, only epic cinematic) 2019 Awaken 2020 Warriors 2021 Ruination 2022 The Call 2023 (the worst of all, better ignore that year). 2024 Still Here There is a lot of more cinematics, of course, but for different purposes, like the Worlds tournaments or skins line release (sorry for my bad english)
As a little mainer of Zyra with 1.4 million mastery points, I would also be glad to see her, but alas, the last time she was in the New Dawn cinematic xD
Kindred is the one character thats a constant in all the scenes. The Lamb is glimpsed in Kayles flames as the transitioncomes, with old man Yasuo. You can see the Wolfs outline in the forest just before Lambs arrow kills old man Yasuo. This, though, is only a potential future as this was a vision given to Yasuo by Kindred. Its kinda obvious with the Trynda scene as Trynda is using undying rage which has him on the edge of death which is why Kindred is so clear... but its not really Kindred Trynda is fighting against but more the Winters Claw clan that were surrounding Trynda at the beginning of the cinematic. They're all dead when Ashe arrives to help Trynda as he comes out of undying rage.
If you look, at ghe end of each scene Kindred is there. The flames that burned Aatrox, her silhouette. Yasuo accepting his death, the arrow, and wold stating st him from the tree line. And the battel with Trynd.
One more info .. Tryndamere vs kindred.. That fight was actually happening in Try's mind.. If you look the begining of the cinematic.. There were 8 enemies around him.. But at last, Ashe killed just 2 enemies behind him and after than, we saw all 8 enemies are already dead.. That means Tryndamere was actually fighting that 8 enemies. He killed 6 enemies...But he saw himself fighting Kindred because he was close to death
I know im late to the party but i loved this cinematic especially because its full of Lore. I can recommend Necrits Video "Still Here Explained" if you haven´t watched it. He breaks everything down what is happening here!
For those who need context: -This whole cinematic is about Kindred. They are the aspect of death. If you accept death, Lamb (the pale one) gives you a swift release with her arrow. If you avoid it, Wolf (the dark one) will hunt you down and make it more painful -The first scene is in the past somewhere around Damacia. Where the two patron sisters fight Aatrox the darkin. Darkin are akin to demon, they possess an host. In the current lore the sisters do not talk anymore because of their vastly different view on justice. Kindred is always present for a death. So when Kayle (the blonde one) burns it all down. Killing the host of Aatrox, the shape can be seen in the flame -The second is a possible future where Noxus successfully invaded Idonia. Yasuo is trying to save a few people and then dies. You can see wolf eyes in the treeline and Lamb arrow finish him off. You can see he accepts his faith because he looks up for a fraction of a second (Noticing Lamb's arrow) and makes sure to finish off the last guy before kneeling. -The last if Tryndamere in the present state of the lore. He has some of Aatrox blood and a rage so great every time he comes close to dying he pushes it away. Hence why he is fighting Kindred, fighting death. His wife Ashes comes to save him at the end but lamb will come back eventually. the hero fighting Kindred in the snowy fields is Tryndamere, and his eyes go red because in the game his ultimate ability is a bloodfrenzied fury (in the lore they let it be understood as some kind of infection from Aatrox's blood magic), which makes him literally unkillable for a short amount of seconds, making him the only human capable of fending off death, therefore the only human who can survive a direct encounter with Kindred. -The "I'm still here" is not so much the heroes it is Kindred themselves because death is inevitable.
the "im still here" isnt about the champs still here. its about death/grim reaper (kindred) is still here. this is a heavy lore video. you can still enjoy it without the lore but with the lore its so deep.
Trynda and Ashe got married for politics, fell inlove with time. Kindred depicts dead past, present and future. Check the animations again, the voice at the begining is the Lamb's voice, Lamb's bow offers a swift release from the mortal realm for those who accept their fate. Wolf hunts down those who run from their end, delivering violent finality within his crushing jaws. That is the reason why you see the Lamb in the fire after Atrox dies, you see the wolf behind the arrow that takes away Yasuo's life, and in the final fight you see the Lamb circling around trying to understand why Trynda has not accepted his parting and keeps fighting. I hope this info help you a little bit.
Great reaction, keep it up! Lore behind this cinematic is so complex, made of past present & future tense. p.s your accent sounds like you are from Caucaus, are u from republic of Dagestan or Chechenya maybe? :)
NonoNoNNNoooo! No! You scare me! LOL. I subscribed to you're channel. You're the most fun I've seen on youTube in a very long time. Mind you I'm not one of them peep's who toss out the compliments like the bench warmers in the park tossing out stale bread crumbs to to the pigeons.
Im literally like Aatrox, also he is my main in game for top lane Necrit has two vids out about the lore of the video Also Ashe is now giving off mommy vibes
Tryndamere is fighting other enemies but since hes slowly dying he activates his inmortal power that atrox gave him thats why u can see everything is getting darker and darker until the arrows of his wife kill his enemies then the light appears showing death is no longer there. But in theory tryndamere should have died there since death was claiming his soul and u can see the white lamb throwing blue arrows that means died in peace like Yasuo accepted it after he throw the tornado, but tryndamere refuse to accept them so the wolf is forced to fight.
Thank you very much for watching! ❤️ I’ll see you guys on twitch.tv/innasolo
I love how tryndemere as soon he saw Ashe his rage went off such cute scene🥰
Yesss! Very touching 🥰
😇😊Ashe🥰
No it's just his ult finished xd

Ashe is the only character in all Runnetera to calm tryndamere when hes on Udying Rage

All the non-LoL streamers are out here respecting this cinematic so much more than the LoL streamers. Big props.
Omg, i didn't know you played League. I wish i could play with you

Kindred is metaphorical and literal at the same time.
