- Hey friends! Today I'm sharing a Clean and Organize with me in the Pantry! I'm doing a Dollar Tree Pantry Organization makeover using some of the items I already have from the Dollar Tree, Walmart, and Amazon. I'm also sharing the labels and new spice jars that I got from a shop on Amazon called The Talented Kitchen. I love how the pantry and other kitchen cabinets turned out! I use 2 of the dollar tree soda clear boxes. Savory spices in one. Sweet baking spices in another. Pull out the whole box and then return. I can fit 10-12 spices per box. 😉
It is so frustrating! To me, when I organize... I want to be perfect and make everything match. I need to realize function is the ultimate goal!

Who else had a look of confusion when she opened her pantry for the “before” I had to make sure I was watching an organization video bc that looks better than when I am organized 😂😂
For the baskets with holes you can use rope/string and tie a tag in one of the holes ( hope that makes sense ). That way you can label it.
I only have canned goods for specific recipes (and soup cans) so, for instance, I have a chili bin that holds those cans and that works awesome! When I want chili I just pull down the bin and I don't have to hunt for those ingredients.
I use 2x4's to create a custom tiered shelf for soup. I found the plastic ones aren't deep with for the cans. I cover the wood with contact paper.

A good tip to take off old or anything with heavily adhesive is Goo Gone it probably cost about $7. 00 witch is not cheep but a little goes a long way! It has a cheerful aroma of oranges, or you could use Dawn dish soap and hot water.

You could always get some sort of shelving unit for the canned goods.
I love watching these type of shows because it doesn't cost a fortune to make things look nice.

where did you get the labels?
I actually use the same baskets and I use they’d foam stickers and DIY my own labels for them it could work just would have to put the label on a blank paper surface and stick it To the basket

This is great inspiration. I organized my pantry last year, the kids (including the hubs) can’t seem to keep things where they go. So it is definitely time to re-organize my small pantry. I loved the labels so much I paused your video and ordered them. I have tiny little labels and yours are going to be so much easier to see. I use small canning jars and lazy Susan's for my spices.
Your Dollar Tree 'experiencia' ... Just like mine. They NEVER have white organizers when I look 🙄 -- always crazy colors I don't want. I like the basket condiment corral!! And the dual level holder with a handle -- LOVE IT!! You've inspired me to try again.

Love the pantry labels. For your canned goods issue, get a white wire rack made just deep enough for cans and mount it in the inside of your large pantry door. There are multiple “shelves” and you can see each can. This has been a lifesaver for us since out pantry is similar to yours without adjustable or pull out shelves.

Add an over the door pantry organizer to the back of your pantry door for you cans. Looks great!
It must be that time of year! I also just re-organized our spice cabinet and gave our pantry an entire makeover, because it just wasn't working for us anymore. Great job! Being organized really makes life so much better, doesn't it?!? 💕

I love the Dollar Tree bins.. I use them all throughout my home.. Your "pantry" turned out great. I dont have a pantry so all my food needs to go in my cabinets and it's a pain.. I try to keep it organized but sometimes it gets out of hand.
This turned out great. I kinda have multiple pantries. Open shelves in the kitchen and then "overstock" in a cabinet in the garage.

U can get a can dispenser. Idk if that’s the name of it but there a organizer for cans specifically.

Hi, I am from New Zealand. I just wanted to say you can fold your chip packets in a way to the top doent hang around and so it is airtight to. I do lots of arts and crafts, so if you have cardboard or paper you could stick a square of any hard material and stick it with tape or something to the top of the boxes with holes, and then add your sticker to the material.

Just found your channel through this video. I love love love dollar tree! I decided to re do my pantry after watching another video a year ago, so once spring hit, I rushed out to get all the mint and teal goodies at dollar tree. We are now moving into a home with a very large closet pantry and I need more container ideas. Your video is helping me so much. So glad I found your channel.

I have two suggestions that may help you. Amazon sells a pantry can holder that holds I think 18 cans and it’s really sturdy. It helps to be able to see exactly what you have with out digging. Also I would recommend putting your spices in a kitchen drawer that would free up a lot of space for you. Ok I have one more recommendation (sorry) why not use your small regular pantry for you pots and pans and the one where you have your pots just for food. That way it is by the selfs with food and all will be together. Great video. I think we all struggle in our own homes bc we think where we put it first it should stay. I know I struggle a lot with that. I usually have a friend c9me in with a clean unbiased eye to help give me ideas.
I love the idea for the cans! And i actually thought about doing the spices in a drawer as well! Maybe in the future!
Honestly, i think the pots and pans work better where they’re at though because the shelves are a lot deeper. But great suggestion.

I'm new! I'm from Burnaby BC Canada! I live with my grandparents so it's technically not my pantry but they are pretty good at organizing... downstairs pantries are clean too... I feel like once my husband and I get our own place, i will take what you showed in your videos and apply some of those ideas to what I would do.

I am a really bussy mom, always cleaning, i spend most of my time in the kitchen, and i always try to keep my pantry clean and organized but it only lasts for like 2 days. for the bins with holes, you could take a thin piece of rope and a small piece of wood and make little holes in the wood for the string and tie the piece of wood in between the holes, then put the label on the piece of wood
Ok....I'm just so exhausted watching this! Something I plan to do with my pantry is measure each shelf before I buy the bins, baskets and whatever. I have a reasonably sized pantry but, there's wasted space that isn't being utilized. I LOVE the labels you got on Amazon!

Hi there Amy! I’m watching from Eagle Mountain, UT. I get the feeling you are from the South because of your sweet accent,( lived in GA for 12 years but a native Californian.
My, “pantry” is actually a very tall, deep cabinet about a foot wide, at least 18 inches deep with just about a foot between each shelf that are not adjustable and it’s a brand new rental. The pantry is always disorganized!
I just wish we had a pantry 🤣 I'm going to try to incorporate some of these ideas into my cabinets though

You should get one of those thin sliding shelf carts on wheels that people use in bathrooms or laundry rooms to hold your cans. They can be upright where the label is visible. It would fit in to the side inside your pantry & take up less room than a basket.

I think that for your canned goods that are in the bottom of your tall pantry, you could use the soda holders that they usually put in the fridge and they stack! they are fairly narrow so they would take up less space horizontally! I am not a good organizer, I hate taking everything out. It gives me hives! but I love an organized cabinet! and I really like things to match! not always possible! thanks for the video! it definitely gives me ideas! xoxo

Great video! It really inspired me to clean out my pantry. Maybe a stackable can rack would help with your canned goods so that you can see them. They sell them online and in stores (amazon, target, bed bath & beyond). Love your channel!

My dollar tree had those same wore baskets for a $1. I got some for my daughter’s room and my coffee pods 😊.
I use tie on ,luggage style ,labels to put on baskets instead of sticky labels that just won’t stick.
What I do with my pots and pans is I turn the covers over and put them in their respective pans upside down and then I can stack them on top of each other. It works out great!
for your canned beans you should buy a tiny shoe rack or just of your choice and but it inside and if it doesn’t fit you can put the juice box in there too?!!
