- Beginning of November and the weather has started to get colder and definitely wetter. After storm caira I headed down for a overnighter hoping to end a 3 night blanking run

Amazing that you’ve now been on this syndicate for a few years from California CP. I remember you said, your not sure how big the old carp are in size. What’s your goal now that you know this lake better, it does take time to read & understand. Can you see yourself being there for the next 5 years ? 👍🏻🎣
Really not sure mate. They are up to 48lb now and would be amazing but haven’t managed to get into any of the bigger carp on the main lake unfortunately. That’s the plan for next season. I have my name on a couple of lakes so will see what happens next season👍🏻🍻

Shame Nathan, but that’s definitely carp fishing. I’ve had my worst years fishing for ages. Loads of blanks, out for a short session today and broke my blanking streak with an 8lb bream, absolutely wounded 😂😂
😂 we get years that just don’t click and this is certainly 1 of those. Some changes going into next year but you learn on each session👍🏻🍻
Nice vid mate , just done 48hrs at east delph lakes , blanked too, 2 people caught out of 13 , to much cold water going in with this rain , hard going.
Been a lot of water going in! That was 1 of the excuses I didn’t make!!😂 all good fun mate still love getting out in all conditions 👍🏻🍻

Great vid mate. Real fishing - not like those awful extended adverts for Fox etc… real fishing for normal people. Just out of interest- what reels are you on? My set have just packed up and I’m looking about.
