Hello, They are not Gorkhas, certainly not Gorkha Regiment. They are locals (Ladakhi) from Ladakh Scouts, I know why you are confused they share simillar dress code as Gorkha Regiment like AR, NR, KR etc. Do some research on the place and people of Ladakh.
