I don't know, but I suspect that it could be because Korea and Japan are not on the best terms. I teach English online to Koreans, and many of my students would consider this marriage practically treasonous. Sad, I know.

Especially, now that the K-wave is quite popular in Japan and Japanese subculture in Korea, the number of the international marriages between those two countries is rapidly increasing. You can easily type in 한일부부(a Korean-Japanese couple) on YT and there would be numerous videos popping up in the search. Political frictions don't always go hand in hand with private life.
Since you like to try different dishes, I'd like to suggest cutting up the cantaloupe, adding freshly cracked black pepper, and wrapping it in thinly sliced prosciutto. Game changer! It's a great appetizer.
in Asian cooking, we all know it's 'mung bean' sprouts when we say bean sprouts. Especially with ramen... normal bean sprouts will not go well I don't think.
