The fuckboy line really killed me with this one.
Kimberly Lippington had the AUDACITY to look that GOOD in this MV
for real this song is such a fun concept, and you can't say the MV is not connected to the song bc like...it exactly illustrates the song. just look at the lyrics: it talks about this ambiguity of saying "we're not friends", which can mean "i don't like you, we're ennemies" or "i like you too much to be just friends" (also without writing an essay this links to the metaphore of love as war and lovers as ennemies which was widely used in the 17th century classic literature). so basically this shows the attraction between two people who are unwilling to be vulnerable for each other, and this results in this mixture of obsession and fighting that we see represented in the MV.
like...not gays making things gay or anything but the MV can literally only be interpreted in a gay way like
idk what the storyline would be but what i see is: Heejin is some kind of hacker / killer trying to kill bad guys and destroy evil organizations, Jinsoul was ordered to stop her but she gets obsessed with her and even when she gets her tied up she can't manage to kill her. also Heejin kind of gets a little obsessed with Jinsoul too, as we can see she doesn't put that much of a fight when Jinsoul captures her. like that's it that's the gay storyline there's not heterosexual explanation for this.
as for Kim Lip and Yves, they seem like rival assassins who fight over a target, or maybe they were hired by rival organizations or something.
we see Yves drifting around Heejin, suggesting that maybe they are on the same side or connected somehow. whereas Kim Lip is driving her motorcycle around Jinsoul, so maybe these two are from the same organization. so basically we have Heejin & Yves VS Jinsoul & Kim Lip

I saw the motorcycle and drifting scenes more as them "cycling their prey" in a sense, and Heejin and Jinsoul being cocky and not being intimidated by their opponents.
