If you want to experience just how diverse Dreamcatcher's discography is and just how versatile they are you need to react to their Dystopia: Tree of Language album (title track = Scream). Yes, I said "need to". There are 11 tracks on that album (not counting intro, outro and instrumentals) and there's very little genre overlap. It is possibly the most diverse single group album I have ever listened to, and I've listened to a truckload of albums, and I'm not talking just about kpop either. As an added bonus there's Siyeon's solo, Paradise, on it as well. Another added bonus is that there are some special clips / performance videos available for some of the tracks. Obviously you won't be doing this one in one sitting but you should definitely put it on your list.
Dystopia trilogy was pretty much an edm era lol. The biggest edm/dance Dreamcatcher song in fandom was "Can't Get You Out of My Mind" which was an encore song before "We Are Young" took its spot in the encore. These songs are never really my style. HOWEVER they go HARD live and they're the most fun at concerts! Hell, "Silent Night" is edm too and I'm certain some people come to concerts just to experience it live lol "In The Frozen" also has edm elements but that one has a lot of substance. Personally, my favorite edm type Dreamcatcher song is "Wind Blows". They do everything! 😊
dreamcatcher \:D/ shatter - what is this... lol your face when you said that 🤣. most people had the same reaction and some still hate it. it grew on it a lot after a few listens. it's different, but a lot of their b-sides are like this, different so a little of something for everyone which is why not all songs will vibe with you. I know you like the newer, more full sounding songs, but I really like their older, more simple instrumentals. dreamcatcher's discography can be very divisive lol
Shatter is such an experimental track that it definitely makes you go, 'What the heck is this?' at first 😂. One thing I really love is how they incorporated the Medusa concept, especially with the snake-like hand movements during JiU's part. The abrupt ending was also a brilliant touch, symbolizing how they were all turned to stone and couldn't finish the line. 👏👏
Since Ollounder took over as Music Producer it's been said that their songs are written specifically with the stage in mind. Shatter is the perfect example of that. The song doesn't hit nearly as hard until you see it performed on stage. OOTD is the first half of the Villains story and Justice is the second half. It only makes sense when you know that. Dreamcatcher are always telling stories and usually over more than one song, which is why it is important to go through at least their title tracks in the order they were released. B-sides don't matter so much, but they usually fit the theme of the album they come from, as Shatter does.
Rising is also a cool song for concerts The visible confusion after listening to Shatter was so funny😂 That song is so experimental, I had to listen to it like 2 times to get into the chorus drop, but I loved the verses right away. The last drop of We Are Young hits harder than my father💀 About the continuity of the albums, I think it's important for the storyline to go in chronological order, but react to it in wichever way you feel more comfortable. Btw, I think what you will remember the most from the concert may be the sentence "One more time!!"😆
There are previous songs like We Are Young, so in chronological order you wouldn't have been as surprised. I understand getting some recent albums done in prep for the concert. Might as well stick to how you were doing it in order for the future since I don't think anyone was complaining about it or wanting you to just start jumping around. You have some great stuff coming soon in order and you may frustrate people who were waiting / expecting those soon.

@@mrjackpots1326 I have listened to a bit of the stories in order. OOTD and Justice were done in order as you mentioned.
In the frozen is another song that sounds like edm. Have fun at the show. I’ve seen them twice and they’re always amazing.
