I got the job. I was stuttering so much I didn’t think I was going to. She even skipped the first question for me and said “It’s okay I can tell that you’re nervous” and after a few more questions she told me I was hired.

They only asked me why I want to work there and what school I go to and I got the job the interview was less then 5 minutes. Normally they will make you wait about ten minutes before your interview and they will watch you I suggest to stay off your phone and observe the workplace so they know you are not going to be on a phone when work is slow.

For all the new crew members applying for McDonald’s be very confident don’t be nervous. I had an interview at 11am, I came 10min early and when they got too me they said I was at the wrong McDonald’s, I got the wrong address and looked again at the address they send me and I was wrong I got confused because they both had the same street name , anyways I called 20min late. She was very understanding,nice and she gave me the job!!

@@beatsbyace6193 really horrible I'm fine now it was on teams and my laptop and phone camera refused to work so I emailed her I tried doing a interview without camera but she refused. After apologising via email she called me I apologised she said its OK then asked what I'm currently doing I said just finished school going college soon and she then said she can't have me then I tried saying I'll be full time she said no because in September I'll go there my counter argument was in September I'll be part time then and she refused it was embarrassing and upsetting

I've got a crew member interview tomorrow at 10 am. It's just gonna be a summer job but I want it so I can pay for back-to-school supplies so my mom doesn't have to, because we don't have a lot of money. I'll tell you guys how it goes ! I got the job!!! I start on Tuesday at 2pm :)

@@usopp8616 I went to the interview and they wanted me to work at a restaurant that was farther away from my house in a bad part of my city. I declined so they did not hire me. I instead got a job later on as a hostess for 10 months, now I am 16 and working as a camp counsellor :)

Thank you for this! I used this video for practice. I had my interview today, and it was a tad different from what the video presented. The interviewer asked only one question from this video: tell me about yourself. Interestingly enough, I was going to answer similarly to how the video suggested to answer the "tell me about yourself" question, but then my interviewer added: "how's school, where are you from, etc." That's when I had to change my answer slightly to accommodate more to the added change, but I still added the suggestion the video offered. Other questions the interviewer asked were: Tell me about a time where you couldn't make an appointment. What did you do and how did you make up for it? Tell me about a time where someone told you did something wrong. How did you react and how did you handle it? What is your availability? Then he told me that working at McDonald's can and will be stressful, challenging, etc.

They'll ask about your hobbies and interests, school life, previous work experience, your flexibility (always say you're flexible) and that's about it really. Just try to come across as a motivated, flexible team player and you'll get it.

youngdaggerdick I cant really remember now, I kind of knew I had it at the interview because he asked for my uniform size. A question that I still remember was if you were a company, which company would you be and why.
Funny thing is I studied this, and she only talked about easy interview questions that were the ones on the website when applying for them! I got the job about a week later. The questions were like “what would you do if a customer brought their food back and who would you see” the only open ended question was “why do you want to work for mc Donald’s” (which was literally on the applying website so I already had this in mind) and I just said I want to gain new experience and knowledge and gain experience in job industry
How did you answer the question? If I were given this question, I would say I would listen carefully to their concern, apologise for the inconvenience and offer an appropriate solution.

I have an interview this Thursday for crew member and I'm super nervous/excited!! I'll update with questions they asked/ if I got hired!! I had the interview and I'm waiting to hear back. Mine was pretty long and I was asked ALOT of questions but it probably just depends on the the location/McDonalds but I fortunately answered all of them the best I could so I really hope I get the job!!! I got the job!!! they called me about 2 weeks later, and I just completed two training sessions and had lots of fun. Just be confident and know your stuff about the company!! This video helped me a lot, I got hired so I came back to say thank you :) I watched a lot of youtubes and read tons of comments to prepare for my interview, and everyone was like don't stress, their interview is literally only 5 minutes, questions are very simple, and some didn't even have to do an interview. But I want to tell you that not every McDonald's restaurant is the same so don't come with nothing in your mind. My interview was about 15 min long, with maybe 10-15 questions (??? idk precisely but it was so long), and the application form was very long too. The manager was nice and not scary at all, but I can tell that she really took the interview serious. I did it not as smoothly as I expected, but still I got the job (after 1 day of waiting for the answer). So good luck to ones who are going to an interview, just be well prepared and believe in yourself :)

I have an interview in 2 hours 😬 Update: I did the absolute best I could and I’d say out of the several interviews I’ve had that was one of the best ones I’ve done and I didnt get the job. They let me know the morning after that they couldnt even give me feedback as there were too many applicants. I can’t find a job and it’s taking too long. I’ve applied for 100+ jobs this passed year and had only 6 interviews which sucks ass. Your video did help me out a lot even if I didn’t get the job, it’s just a shame I didn’t.

And what respect means to me...overall it went so well,I felt comfortable and got along with the manager and had a laugh,it was more of a conversation then an actual interview which I also prefer...I hear back Monday or Tuesday if I get it so I’ll update myself !!
I had my interview at maccas today, I went in casually dressed with a tiny bit of makeup left over from school and the questions were easy, just relax, take some breathes and BE YOURSELF! And don’t forget to smile! In the end I got the job on the spot! You got this!

I was so nervous and anxious my interview so im gonna tell you guys what they asked me. i had mine yesterday my first job interview, she asked me 5 questions. my availability, tell me about yourself, why do you want to work here, she DIDNT ask me abt my strengths or weaknesses, she asked about what i do in my free time. that was it. it was simple i loved the interviewer sm she reminded me of my caribbean mother. unfortunately mcdonalds doesnt really hire 16 yos during the school year BUT i didnt get rejected as of yet, she send me a link and now i have to do a video interview which i was not expecting at all and corporate i believe its called has to hire me not the individual franchise so thats unusual and cool ig? ill update if i got the job tho. she also said there was a large possibility that they would hold my application till the summer.

@@BehindTheScenesWKristina I can’t remember them all but I’ll list what I do remember and a summary of my answers :) I passed and am now a trainee !! - Why do you want to work at McDonald’s (gain experience) - Your future plans (I just said college/uni) - Availability Scenarios like - “What would u do if a disabled customer comes in?” (give them more attention based on their needs) - “As a customer coming into McDonald’s what are your expectations?” (A clean and friendly environment and good customer service) - “If you over heard a customer saying their fries were cold and that they’re never coming back here again what would you do?” (Approach and offer their order again but a larger size) - “What would you do if a customer came in a hurry and requested their order be done now? (I said I’d tell them they need to wait in line like the rest but the interviewer said I could also ask for help or call the manager for assistance) There was a bit more but that’s roughly what they asked. I’ll edit if I remember them lol.

They asked queastions like “Tell me a time you completed a task you didn’t want to” They have many queastions but they are really about past experiences. My advise would be to smile stay happy and have a good laugh. That really helped me.

For all the new crew members applying for McDonald’s be very confident don’t be nervous. I had an interview at 11am, I came 10min early and when they got too me they said I was at the wrong McDonald’s, I got the wrong address and looked again at the address they send me and I was wrong I got confused because they both had the same street name , anyways I called 20min late. She was very understanding,nice and she gave me the job!!

@@beatsbyace6193 really horrible I'm fine now it was on teams and my laptop and phone camera refused to work so I emailed her I tried doing a interview without camera but she refused. After apologising via email she called me I apologised she said its OK then asked what I'm currently doing I said just finished school going college soon and she then said she can't have me then I tried saying I'll be full time she said no because in September I'll go there my counter argument was in September I'll be part time then and she refused it was embarrassing and upsetting

@@usopp8616 I went to the interview and they wanted me to work at a restaurant that was farther away from my house in a bad part of my city. I declined so they did not hire me. I instead got a job later on as a hostess for 10 months, now I am 16 and working as a camp counsellor :)

Thank you for this! I used this video for practice. I had my interview today, and it was a tad different from what the video presented. The interviewer asked only one question from this video: tell me about yourself.
Interestingly enough, I was going to answer similarly to how the video suggested to answer the "tell me about yourself" question, but then my interviewer added: "how's school, where are you from, etc." That's when I had to change my answer slightly to accommodate more to the added change, but I still added the suggestion the video offered.
Other questions the interviewer asked were:
Tell me about a time where you couldn't make an appointment. What did you do and how did you make up for it?
Tell me about a time where someone told you did something wrong. How did you react and how did you handle it?
What is your availability?
Then he told me that working at McDonald's can and will be stressful, challenging, etc.

They'll ask about your hobbies and interests, school life, previous work experience, your flexibility (always say you're flexible) and that's about it really. Just try to come across as a motivated, flexible team player and you'll get it.

Funny thing is I studied this, and she only talked about easy interview questions that were the ones on the website when applying for them! I got the job about a week later. The questions were like “what would you do if a customer brought their food back and who would you see” the only open ended question was “why do you want to work for mc Donald’s” (which was literally on the applying website so I already had this in mind) and I just said I want to gain new experience and knowledge and gain experience in job industry

How did you answer the question? If I were given this question, I would say I would listen carefully to their concern, apologise for the inconvenience and offer an appropriate solution.
And to remain composed and polite and ensure that I understand the customer's concern.

I got the job!!! they called me about 2 weeks later, and I just completed two training sessions and had lots of fun. Just be confident and know your stuff about the company!!

This video helped me a lot, I got hired so I came back to say thank you :) I watched a lot of youtubes and read tons of comments to prepare for my interview, and everyone was like don't stress, their interview is literally only 5 minutes, questions are very simple, and some didn't even have to do an interview. But I want to tell you that not every McDonald's restaurant is the same so don't come with nothing in your mind. My interview was about 15 min long, with maybe 10-15 questions (??? idk precisely but it was so long), and the application form was very long too. The manager was nice and not scary at all, but I can tell that she really took the interview serious. I did it not as smoothly as I expected, but still I got the job (after 1 day of waiting for the answer). So good luck to ones who are going to an interview, just be well prepared and believe in yourself :)

Update: I did the absolute best I could and I’d say out of the several interviews I’ve had that was one of the best ones I’ve done and I didnt get the job. They let me know the morning after that they couldnt even give me feedback as there were too many applicants. I can’t find a job and it’s taking too long. I’ve applied for 100+ jobs this passed year and had only 6 interviews which sucks ass.
Your video did help me out a lot even if I didn’t get the job, it’s just a shame I didn’t.

I was so nervous and anxious my interview so im gonna tell you guys what they asked me. i had mine yesterday my first job interview, she asked me 5 questions. my availability, tell me about yourself, why do you want to work here, she DIDNT ask me abt my strengths or weaknesses, she asked about what i do in my free time. that was it. it was simple i loved the interviewer sm she reminded me of my caribbean mother. unfortunately mcdonalds doesnt really hire 16 yos during the school year BUT i didnt get rejected as of yet, she send me a link and now i have to do a video interview which i was not expecting at all and corporate i believe its called has to hire me not the individual franchise so thats unusual and cool ig? ill update if i got the job tho. she also said there was a large possibility that they would hold my application till the summer.

@@BehindTheScenesWKristina I can’t remember them all but I’ll list what I do remember and a summary of my answers :) I passed and am now a trainee !!
- Why do you want to work at McDonald’s (gain experience)
- Your future plans (I just said college/uni)
- Availability
Scenarios like
- “What would u do if a disabled customer comes in?” (give them more attention based on their needs)
- “As a customer coming into McDonald’s what are your expectations?” (A clean and friendly environment and good customer service)
- “If you over heard a customer saying their fries were cold and that they’re never coming back here again what would you do?” (Approach and offer their order again but a larger size)
- “What would you do if a customer came in a hurry and requested their order be done now? (I said I’d tell them they need to wait in line like the rest but the interviewer said I could also ask for help or call the manager for assistance)
There was a bit more but that’s roughly what they asked. I’ll edit if I remember them lol.

They asked queastions like “Tell me a time you completed a task you didn’t want to” They have many queastions but they are really about past experiences. My advise would be to smile stay happy and have a good laugh. That really helped me.
