I got the job. I was stuttering so much I didn’t think I was going to. She even skipped the first question for me and said “It’s okay I can tell that you’re nervous” and after a few more questions she told me I was hired.

They only asked me why I want to work there and what school I go to and I got the job the interview was less then 5 minutes. Normally they will make you wait about ten minutes before your interview and they will watch you I suggest to stay off your phone and observe the workplace so they know you are not going to be on a phone when work is slow.

Thank you for this! I used this video for practice. I had my interview today, and it was a tad different from what the video presented. The interviewer asked only one question from this video: tell me about yourself.
Interestingly enough, I was going to answer similarly to how the video suggested to answer the "tell me about yourself" question, but then my interviewer added: "how's school, where are you from, etc." That's when I had to change my answer slightly to accommodate more to the added change, but I still added the suggestion the video offered.
Other questions the interviewer asked were:
Tell me about a time where you couldn't make an appointment. What did you do and how did you make up for it?
Tell me about a time where someone told you did something wrong. How did you react and how did you handle it?
What is your availability?
Then he told me that working at McDonald's can and will be stressful, challenging, etc.

I use the intro part of answer for a pharmacy retail role, and at the end of the interview, the manager said he liked my personality even though my resume is not a strong hit for the role! After 2 days, I got the 1 year job offer! Thank you Richard!

For all the new crew members applying for McDonald’s be very confident don’t be nervous. I had an interview at 11am, I came 10min early and when they got too me they said I was at the wrong McDonald’s, I got the wrong address and looked again at the address they send me and I was wrong I got confused because they both had the same street name , anyways I called 20min late. She was very understanding,nice and she gave me the job!!

@@beatsbyace6193 really horrible I'm fine now it was on teams and my laptop and phone camera refused to work so I emailed her I tried doing a interview without camera but she refused. After apologising via email she called me I apologised she said its OK then asked what I'm currently doing I said just finished school going college soon and she then said she can't have me then I tried saying I'll be full time she said no because in September I'll go there my counter argument was in September I'll be part time then and she refused it was embarrassing and upsetting

I had my interview at maccas today, I went in casually dressed with a tiny bit of makeup left over from school and the questions were easy, just relax, take some breathes and BE YOURSELF! And don’t forget to smile! In the end I got the job on the spot! You got this!

Funny thing is I studied this, and she only talked about easy interview questions that were the ones on the website when applying for them! I got the job about a week later. The questions were like “what would you do if a customer brought their food back and who would you see” the only open ended question was “why do you want to work for mc Donald’s” (which was literally on the applying website so I already had this in mind) and I just said I want to gain new experience and knowledge and gain experience in job industry

How did you answer the question? If I were given this question, I would say I would listen carefully to their concern, apologise for the inconvenience and offer an appropriate solution.
And to remain composed and polite and ensure that I understand the customer's concern.

I had the interview and I'm waiting to hear back. Mine was pretty long and I was asked ALOT of questions but it probably just depends on the the location/McDonalds but I fortunately answered all of them the best I could so I really hope I get the job!!!
I got the job!!! they called me about 2 weeks later, and I just completed two training sessions and had lots of fun. Just be confident and know your stuff about the company!!

@@usopp8616 I did not, because I wasn’t willing to work in the restaurant that was a) super far from my house and b) in a not so safe part of the city. But, I got a much better job a few months later!
@@celeste1879 thats great, im 15 years and 9 months old, this is gonna be my first job, my fr goal is to become a cardiac surgeon. did you go for the interview at mcdonalds? if so, did they hire you and you dropped the job after some time, or did you not go to the interview at all?
@@usopp8616 I went to the interview and they wanted me to work at a restaurant that was farther away from my house in a bad part of my city. I declined so they did not hire me. I instead got a job later on as a hostess for 10 months, now I am 16 and working as a camp counsellor :)

youngdaggerdick I cant really remember now, I kind of knew I had it at the interview because he asked for my uniform size. A question that I still remember was if you were a company, which company would you be and why.

EXACTLY!!!! I had two interviews one through phone and one through video call AND THEY NEVER SHOWED UP!!!!! I was worried the same thing that happened to you would happen to me so I ended up not checking back with them smh. Thank goodness I have an actual in person one in a few days

They'll ask about your hobbies and interests, school life, previous work experience, your flexibility (always say you're flexible) and that's about it really. Just try to come across as a motivated, flexible team player and you'll get it.

I've got a interview for a cleaner in 3 hours over Face Time. I'm genuinely so nervous because i need this job to support my family. Hopefully i'll get it! If so, it will be my first :)

Update got the job and have orientation on Monday from 11:00-12:30 does anyone know what exactly happens at orientation as I'm unsure (btw I'm working for an mcdonald's that's in ireland)

Update 1: they called me an hour and 20 minutes before my interview when I wasn’t available then blamed me for not picking up wtf

@@kirstincraig9976 they asked me things like tell me about yourself, what are your hobbies/interests, why do you want to work for mcdonald's, how important do you think teamwork is, what's more important fast or friendly service (tip I answered that friendly service is more important out of the two and the hiring manager was impressed). They also asked where abouts I live and how I would get to work and about my previous jobs (if you don't have work experience they won't ask you this though). It was a very easy interview and we even had a short chat afterwards once I got offered the job where the manager told me a bit about the hiring process. I hope your interview goes well on Friday 😊

This video helped me a lot, I got hired so I came back to say thank you :) I watched a lot of youtubes and read tons of comments to prepare for my interview, and everyone was like don't stress, their interview is literally only 5 minutes, questions are very simple, and some didn't even have to do an interview. But I want to tell you that not every McDonald's restaurant is the same so don't come with nothing in your mind. My interview was about 15 min long, with maybe 10-15 questions (??? idk precisely but it was so long), and the application form was very long too. The manager was nice and not scary at all, but I can tell that she really took the interview serious. I did it not as smoothly as I expected, but still I got the job (after 1 day of waiting for the answer). So good luck to ones who are going to an interview, just be well prepared and believe in yourself :)

Update: I did the absolute best I could and I’d say out of the several interviews I’ve had that was one of the best ones I’ve done and I didnt get the job. They let me know the morning after that they couldnt even give me feedback as there were too many applicants. I can’t find a job and it’s taking too long. I’ve applied for 100+ jobs this passed year and had only 6 interviews which sucks ass.
Your video did help me out a lot even if I didn’t get the job, it’s just a shame I didn’t.
