Nicely done video I enjoy your easy going way and honesty. It was pretty funny when the cow came charging across the field. Even though your initial reaction was to let your feet do the talking and get the heck out of there, you returned and taught Peach well. Thanks for your time and videos!
Thank you for being so kind! I really appreciate it. Ahahah oh my goodness at the time it seemed like the right thing to do. Turns out she was just a very friendly cow 😂
Really good to watch. My FilaCorso puppy did a good heel work until she was 7 months. Now she is a 8 month teenager and I have to start heel training again.
Hi Michelle just a thought for learning this command maybe as you have done here wearing either sweats with a stripe or jeans with the seam so you have the line can help you as an extra visual line if that makes sense?
I have success with my dogs when they see a new animal like a cow or deer i sit down on the ground near the animal to show im relaxed and pet my dogs so they see its nothing to worry about. What treats do you use or recommend for a dog on raw food diet?
Michelle Brasil yes, I cant wait! I had one before, but he sadly passed away😢 Corsos are so intelligent and kind. They will always be my number 1 breed. ❤️❤️ love the vids. Keep up the good work!
@@MichelleBrasil Thank for your answer. We also have a garden with vegetables and fruits and Chicken. As you- but in a lttle town in Germany. Have you ever been in Germany?
Yvonne Sophie that’s so cool! we just started our little farm this year. I’ve never been to Germany. I’ve never been anywhere in Europe. It’s a dream of mine to go one day!
I would just recommend cutting some stuff out of the video. Some people get bored or impatient when the video is taking a while to get started (like the first minute, feeding the chickens, and the mail unboxing). Other then that I've been following your channel for a while and its getting me prepared to get my Cane Corso Puppy. Thank you for your input and putting your life out there for others that may need the help!
@@MichelleBrasil leave everything in, especially if the unboxing is sponsored content. You deserve the support for your channel. Also I found the insert of feeding the chicken to be a great segway
Right now I have Peach on Proplan kibble and she loves it! I do recommend you to transition to raw diet if you can. That is what I'm planning to do with Peach.
Yes! As she gets better at heeling we increase the amount of time she’s heeling without giving her treats and then only give her treats when we give her a release word. Once she’s a pro we’ll ween her off. The treats are just an incentive for her as a puppy
I laughed so much when you were scared of the cow 🙂. Super nice video with beautiful days and sights ❤️ and Peach is getting cuter and cuter 😍 (Dante too, by the way). Brasil Woodwork thanks you ❤️❤️❤️
Yes he is! He kind of became brindle overtime hahah as a puppy his coat was solid blue. Honestly it was a wonderful surprise when we started to notice he was brindle. Peach is huge and heavy rn! Still my baby though 🥰
Thank you! We started training her to heel when she was about 4 months old. She’s 5 now. It’s not too late to teach your boy! I would suggest practicing with him everyday until he’s a pro. If you can try practicing in a place without too many distractions first until he really nails it and work your way up.
Love Peach and Dante. Would you be willing to tell me the name of the breeder you got them from? I have been researching the breed for over a year now but having a hard time finding a good breeder here in the states.
Love your boys they are so handsome ♥️♥️♥️ How is Dante’s seizures? Does he still get them? I remember you changed his food to raw and that improved a lot. Your the best mommy to those dogs ♥️♥️♥️
Thank you! Dante’s has better days than others. Sometimes he spends weeks without having seizures and sometimes he spends a whole day having them and then a couple of days getting back to normal. The good thing is that we’ve learned to recognize when it looks like he’s about to get a seizure and can act quicker to try to stop them. Thank you so much for asking. He is overall better thank God. Dante and Peach say hi ❤️
Michelle Brasil I’m happy to know he has good days.. saddens me to know he has not so good days. I pray these seizures go away. Poor baby but I’m so happy he ended up with the best mama to look after him love him unconditionally. Blessings to you and your beautiful little family ♥️♥️
Awesome vid... beautiful dog... be careful hugging the dog though, to you it's a sign of love and affection, but to the dog it mimics dominance. Some dogs react to it.. Your dog obviously loves you and I wouldn't have mentioned it except you said sometimes the dog doesn't like it. It might be why, or maybe not.. I'm not a troll just a concerned dog owner.. lol Great job.
Congrats on your puppy! You’ve gained a new best friend for life ahahah. And oh man good, I was feeling embarrassed to think I was the only one Ahahaha 😂
@@MichelleBrasil yes we had ba Netherland dwarf bunny and he was litter box traied so the dogs would TRY to sneak and eat her poops 💩 notice I said try he would trot around all happy with the bedding /wood shavings we used for litter it would be hanging off his face ..he'd look at me like hi Mom thinking I didn't know what he did . I love ur dogs but u shouldn’t own them, they are way too big and strong for you,if something happens you couldn’t even hold them back especially 2,that’s irresponsible
Controlling a large dog is not about being able to physically pick them up and take them away from a dangerous situation. It’s about the relationship built through constant training. It’s about exposing them to all kinds of scenarios and them trusting you to make the right call and listen when you give them a command. Those things are not taught from one day to another. It’s takes time and work and in the end outweighs me being “physically capable” of controlling them. The mindset of only being able to control a giant breed dog with your own force is absolutely WRONG. That is the kind of mindset that gets dogs in shelters because owners can’t control them and that is what makes pittbulls, dobermans, and other working breed dogs be labeled as vicious and aggressive. We are well aware that we have two dogs, two GIANT dogs and are responsible in taking the correct measures in training them since they came home as puppies. What’s irresponsible is to think that you can only get a dog to listen if you’re able to beat them in a fight.
@@MichelleBrasilcompletely agree, my husband is 197 CMS tall and weighs 96 kg and, playing with our 60 kg Cane Corso, the dog has more strength than him, it is not a question of strength but of control and authority.

Why should heel be on the left side?
Love the way you interact with peachy and Dante ! One can feel how much you adored them 🥰thank you for sharing 🙏🥰
I'm convinced that you have the cutest prettiest Cane Corsos I've ever seen

I can't see her collar, are you using a prong collar?

No not yet! We’re transitioning her to raw when she’s older
