I have this favorite pair of pants that fits me in the best ways possible that Iown a few pairs of, but they are no longer being made. I have 2 questions: - I noticed that the 2 main pieces (parts 1, 2, 3, and 4) area a little different in size---one being a little longer than the other. Is it best to punch the stitching holes in the longer piece or the smaller piece? - This question is regarding your patterns... I so liked several variants of this bag that you showed. It seems everything is a bit similar, but each is individual and special! Very cool! This second model is the same handbag, which I spoke about in a previous post. :) I will be glad to receive patterns on this product. Hi Hahns, I saw that was a Cylindes head industrial sewing machine but as I should want to buy one machine I should want to know the name of this machine (Pfaff, Adler or other) and the minimal and maximal size of the needles, you use with it. I suppose for my work I need the sizes 90 mini and 160 maxi. An other question : have you a good plan to buy this kind of machine for a good price ? Thank you very much for your answers, Alain.

I was just trying to work out a pattern for a "Pumpkin Bucket Bag" where the bottom base is a circle where the main body of the bag has pleats all the way around which gives it a sort of pumpkin silhouette. I really love your design approach as it always inspires me to produce higher quality leather goods. It is so awesome to be able to go back a reference to old projects for inspiration and construction details! The internet deserves a Nobel Peace prize!LOL! @@HahnsAtelier I saw a beautiful Prada "Pumpkin Bucket Bag" on the NY subway passenger and I didn't want to stare too much to try to see how it was constructed because it is the NY subway and I did not want her to get creeped out thinking I meant her harm..lol The bag definitely was not a knock off but I cannot find it anywhere..it may be from an older limited collection. It was quilted which gave it an even more bundt appearance ..I am obsessed with that bag style but I am not sure how to pull it off?... The bottom base was of the bag was round and I think the pleats or darts attached to the circumference of the round base made the silhouette of the bag spherical with the appearance of sections like a pumpkin which made it "Pumpkin like" bit it was a bucket bag with the drawstring closure around the top...I saw a similar bag on Pinterest. I will email you the photo if I can find it.

I have this favorite pair of pants that fits me in the best ways possible that Iown a few pairs of, but they are no longer being made. - I noticed that the 2 main pieces (parts 1, 2, 3, and 4) area a little different in size---one being a little longer than the other. Is it best to punch the stitching holes in the longer piece or the smaller piece?

Hi Hahns, I saw that was a Cylindes head industrial sewing machine but as I should want to buy one machine I should want to know the name of this machine (Pfaff, Adler or other) and the minimal and maximal size of the needles, you use with it. I suppose for my work I need the sizes 90 mini and 160 maxi.
An other question : have you a good plan to buy this kind of machine for a good price ?

I was just trying to work out a pattern for a "Pumpkin Bucket Bag" where the bottom base is a circle where the main body of the bag has pleats all the way around which gives it a sort of pumpkin silhouette. I really love your design approach as it always inspires me to produce higher quality leather goods. It is so awesome to be able to go back a reference to old projects for inspiration and construction details! The internet deserves a Nobel Peace prize!LOL! @@HahnsAtelier I saw a beautiful Prada "Pumpkin Bucket Bag" on the NY subway passenger and I didn't want to stare too much to try to see how it was constructed because it is the NY subway and I did not want her to get creeped out thinking I meant her harm..lol
The bag definitely was not a knock off but I cannot find it anywhere..it may be from an older limited collection. It was quilted which gave it an even more bundt appearance ..I am obsessed with that bag style but I am not sure how to pull it off?... The bottom base was of the bag was round and I think the pleats or darts attached to the circumference of the round base made the silhouette of the bag spherical with the appearance of sections like a pumpkin which made it "Pumpkin like" bit it was a bucket bag with the drawstring closure around the top...I saw a similar bag on Pinterest. I will email you the photo if I can find it.

In this video it seems like you haven't made the leather thinner at any of the seams, if I'm correct. Is there a reason for that?

Where is the leather from? I went to a fabric store today but all of the hides they had were too thin and not stiff enough.
