Thank you! I am stitching my first Mirabilia right now. The whole "beading thing" has been poking at me from the back of my mind each time I stitch on it. Now I feel much more confident about it. 😊

I guess I was on the right track years ago when I decided to add some white beads to my snowman cross stitch project to make it look like snow falling out of the sky even though the pattern did not call for them. Wasn't sure if I was doing it correctly but according to your tutorial I did. I used the x method so they would stand straight on the material. Beads really do add to the beauty of the design too. Thanks so much Helen. I definitely wouldn't be afraid to use them again. 🐱🐱

I used to make jewelry with seed beads, which the Mill Hill beads are, for reference their petite beads are a size 15 seed bead, the regular is a size 11 and the larger is size 8. The higher the number the smaller the size just like tapestry needles. And from what I saw the treasure bead is a bi cone and they may even by Swarovski a top of the line crystal glass bead. Thank you for your tips and tricks in beading your cross stitch.

Thank you for showing us. I don't have any plans on doing beads even though it looks so good, but I don't have any plans. I would love to see what you use to stich? Like if you use Q-snaps or scroll frames, do you use a stand for your Q-snaps? What are your best cross stitch tools you use to to do your craft? Thanks 👍
