Oh Kittl! You never fail to amaze us! I learned a lot of things in this video and this will help me achieve as a self taught graphics designer. Thank you and I am proud that I'm a patron of Kittl!
This video is insane 🔥 If I had to bet in one trend I'd say kitschy retro is the next big thing! Brutalist design is not going anywhere any time soon, it is just evolving and morphing into different styles. The future is retro!! 😎
2:30 I love maximalism. It never gets old and never disappears, like a rebellion against the new trends of every year and every era. It will always be there. Stay punk. Hell yeah!
Hey there. We're not entirely sure what you mean by custom shapes or images, but there are a plethora of creative marketplaces to get different elements from if you can't find what you need in Kittl, for example. Some include Design Cuts and Creative Market.
Hey, those middle aged women who play pickle ball on Wednesday afternoons, might just surprise you. 😂😂😂😂 JK! Great video. These types of videos are very helpful and useful. Do you have design tutorials for them?
Check out some of our other videos using AI in Kittl! You can also check out our info page here: www.kittl.com/feature/ai-text-to-image and also view our other products in the AI category on Kittl.
After watching half a dozen of these "Top (insert number) design trends for 2024" videos the one thing I can tell for sure - other than Maxilmalism and retro-mascot design - no one agrees on design trends, in fact some are EXACT opposite of each other (and usually relate to whatever the videographer is selling)
Sure. These are simply our assumptions and predictions based on research we've done and utilizing search tools to see what people are typing into the Google search bar. There's also a difference between consumer based trends (t-shirt designs, hat styles, packaging), and design trends for the sake of designing (web design, social graphics, etc.) We leaned more toward the consumer based trends.
Totally unrelated to this video but will there ever be a "minus front" or cutout function coming to kittl? I was used to this in illustrator and it's the one thing I think is missing from kittl.
You are prompted upon download, explaining the attribution process of linking Kittl in your work. However, please be aware of some of the limitations of the free plan, such as export size, that could potentially cause issue with Print on Demand quality.
I'm having a problem with graphics with texture overlays when I upload the SVG to Printify. The graphic looks excellent in Kittle, and it looks excellent when I open it in another editor like Inkscape. But when I upload to Printify, it appears so washed out I can barely see the design. Any advice? Using a PNG appears fine, also. Thanks!
We're not entirely sure what's happening there, and might be an issue on Printify's side, where we would suggest reaching out to them to see what's going on. If you are previewing the image correctly once exported, there shouldn't be any issues.
When is kittl going to unlock the resizing meaning if I want to make a 2x6 image just type the size as well as I think you have A3or A4 you one and not the other
I appreciate your work and the information you have shared. But I would recommend that you watch the video before uploading. Your transitions have errors in them which is very visible over the whole video. I would not mention that (bc we are all humans) if this would not be a 15min long ad for your product. I dont mean that in a negative way - more custructive feedback.
Hey there. These aren't really "our" trends. We just researched them and brought them to everyone's attention. :) If you are asking if you can use Kittl templates, then you can click the link up in the description to find out more on our pricing page!
Sorry to hear that. We wanted to explain to viewers, especially beginner designers, that they can achieve these looks using Kittl. Hope you got value from the first three trends.
Is there a template where I can import an image and with the help of ai it can transform the image into art abstract, cartoon, black & white, etc if you understand what I’m talking about let me know
well made and eye pleasing video. however why is it that every single one of these have already been prominently used by brands years ago and none of these feel fresh or noteworthy aside from maybe neo brutalism (memphis is making its rounds once again)? these styles are all the exact same kinds of things id see as inspiration on Canva back in 2018 when i was taking graphic design in high shcool? like actually not a single one i havent already grown bored of 2 years ago.. i desperately need something new. this should be about the future, give me some hypothetical and risky styles that might be getting traction in the future, not things im already bored of.
Hey there thanks for asking. This is why we made the distinction in the beginning between consumer trends and design trends (for the sake of using a design style). And older design styles certainly make their way back around to be at the forefront of design. These are just the predictions for the upcoming year based off of research tools we used to see what people are searching for. It is rare that there are many "new" trends that arise, since again, many of the older ones rise and fall with the time (and with the use-case). Hope this makes sense.
the moving screen behind the examples are too much . This is a valuable video but the lighting the back , reediting out of the consideration for future viewers would be considerate.
Started off with some good examples of trends, but at the third sales break, I stopped watching. Save the sales for the end or the beginning, not a 15 second break between each list item. Never heard of Kittl before, but the taste is already bad.
Sorry to hear that, but we appreciate you watching the first three trends. We'd still love for you to give Kittl a try when you have some time. Our goal was of course to give insight to people about upcoming trends, but also to help viewers, especially beginners, understand they can achieve these styles with Kittl. Thanks for the comment.
There was a co worker I knew who recalled the embarrassing trend in the 80s of people wanting 8-bit text and clip art in anything they could think of. So cringe just thinking about that actually being a reoccurrence in this time of the millenium. 80s nostalgia has its proper placements in the millenium but NOT 8-bit. It's always gonna look pixelated and awful.
I think there's something wrong with your video, it looks like it's glitching out every few seconds with diagonal lines and smudgy shapes all over. Kind of distracting 🙈😅
Hum, I don’t have that issue. I have watch it my iPhone, and my Windows 11 laptop. Maybe restart your computer, this has almost always fixed the issue. Hope you get it working because it has a ton of excellent information.
Thanks for watching the first three trends! We just want to make sure people are aware they can achieve these styles utilizing Kittl, but you could of course use any tool you feel comfortable with. 😉 Cheers.
What actual research have you done to make this video? No evidence of actual campaigns that have been launched recently. Using fake brands to say it's now a trend is just misleading as branding does not follow trends to stand the test of time..
Hey there. We didn't use any fake brands to represent any trends. Everything is predictions, but of course used Google Trends with multiple keywords to validate that there has been an influx in search terms in these 15 categories. Thanks for commenting.
Wow I almost made it half way through the video but your incessant plugging of your product was so annoying. It doesn’t matter how good it “may” be, you annoyed me so much I’ll never use it.
Which trend do you think will be the most popular in 2024? 👀

Kittl! what a game changer. Been here for over a month now and I'm loving it
So happy to hear that!
I've been a technical production designer for two decades, and my are the trends recycling.
That's for sure. Sometimes they go away, only to come back up again!
They do done do that
They've been recycling for 2 decades now. It's all H&M fast mix and match for the sake of commercialism.
Oh Kittl! You never fail to amaze us! I learned a lot of things in this video and this will help me achieve as a self taught graphics designer. Thank you and I am proud that I'm a patron of Kittl!
So happy to hear this, and so glad that this video was helpful for you!
As a graphic designer who’s transitioning into product design, this was super helpful. I’ve been considering getting Kittl for some time now.

Glad you think so!

It took us a while to figure out that name! Kitshy retro. We'll see where it goes!

Please tell the trend for corporate and business graphics .. thanks for this video
Thanks for the suggestion!
Kittl Kittl Kittl, i guess i should have known
Hope you enjoyed the video.
Thank you Drew. Where would you recommend I go for custom shapes or images i.e., Bigfoot
Hey there. We're not entirely sure what you mean by custom shapes or images, but there are a plethora of creative marketplaces to get different elements from if you can't find what you need in Kittl, for example. Some include Design Cuts and Creative Market.

How am I watching a Kittl video and in between I get a Kittl google add with the same guy wearing the sam hat 😂
That means you were destined to use Kittl! Haha!
Totally unrelated to this video but will there ever be a "minus front" or cutout function coming to kittl? I was used to this in illustrator and it's the one thing I think is missing from kittl.
Yes. It is being worked on for the future.
it says we're supposed to give attribution while using the free plan, how can we do that? say for print on demand maybe
You are prompted upon download, explaining the attribution process of linking Kittl in your work. However, please be aware of some of the limitations of the free plan, such as export size, that could potentially cause issue with Print on Demand quality.
just curious, are any of these possible in Kittl?
Yes, many of the examples shown in this video are from Kittl.
I'm having a problem with graphics with texture overlays when I upload the SVG to Printify. @@Kittldesign Thanks for getting back! Love your product! Will reach out to Printify and get back.
Abstract shape mask? 2003 knocking, remember me. 😂
Haha yes. We definitely see a resurgence of older trends coming back into frame. 😉
When is kittl going to unlock the resizing meaning if I want to make a 2x6 image just type the size as well as I think you have A3or A4 you one and not the other
Hey there, you can do this right now in the settings panel.
I've been trying out Kittl since a couple of weeks. Is there a round page to design for ornaments?
Hey there, the best solution for this is uploading an ornament template, from Printify for example, so that you know where the round design will be.
I appreciate your work and the information you have shared. But I would recommend that you watch the video before uploading. Can I use your trends for digital art without or with fee?
Hey there. These aren't really "our" trends. We just researched them and brought them to everyone's attention. :) If you are asking if you can use Kittl templates, then you can click the link up in the description to find out more on our pricing page!
I think Trend #1 is purely based of non designers using apps like Canva to create social posts. Just more noise, no substance
Using abstract shapes as masks can be a good way of capturing attention, whether that's for a social ad, or perhaps a nice poster.
This felt like am infomercial.
We hope you enjoyed the info!
You lost me at the 3er mention of Kittle.
Sorry to hear that. We wanted to explain to viewers, especially beginner designers, that they can achieve these looks using Kittl. Hope you got value from the first three trends.
The first trend is not a trend, that's been around for years, since 2001 lol.
Yes, but a certain style or design aspect can be "trending," which is why we included it. 😉
Is there a template where I can import an image and with the help of ai it can transform the image into art abstract, cartoon, black & white, etc if you understand what I’m talking about let me know

We've seen a bit of a different use-case with the Pixel art as of late, where it's generally catered around video games and video game nostalgia.
I think there's something wrong with your video, it looks like it's glitching out every few seconds with diagonal lines and smudgy shapes all over. Kind of distracting 🙈😅
I would perhaps check your wifi connection, as everything here seems to be working fine. 😉
