Sorry to hear that. We tried something new. And apparently it needs some work.
If money were no object and only one Ike can be acquired, which would you recommend: a 1971 MS 66+ or a 1972 Type II MS66? Assume both have great eye appeal.
I happy to see something positive on the IKE dollars, I can't tell you for how many decades I had dealers respond to me " why do you want those graded", I always figured they were under valued.
My dad worked as a weaver and every year he would make back when I was a kid I have several several bicentennial ike dollar coins, I have a lot of 1972 ike dollar coins and I have 2 1971 ike dollars
I bought the whole collection in a dansko book,look like they grade out 66 on up
Should I clean the coins they have lint on them and in very great condition were could i have them appraised sould i take them to a coin dealer

You could get PCGS to fix it or confirm it's not counterfeit ( alot of the Chinese counterfeits are like that).

Great analysis and could have gone longer. The other challenge with the ikes is the errors and varieties to look for and should have mention the Ike group website as a reference tool
Nice high grade collection and errors you have there Charles, but didn't see a king of ikes in your collection there👀 and no, I am not talking about the 72 P Type 2 but rather the one and only Nightcrawler 🤩🤓🟡. Keep em coming👍
