That stretch coke bottle brings back a lot of memories. I used to win those at my grade school fun fairs as prizes at games I won. They would be filled with different colored water. a month or so ago, my buddy was tipped off to a sold hoarder house where the buyer was throwing out everything. we got the go ahead to go in and let me tell. everything packed floor to ceiling. 4 floors. a garage. crawlspace. everything. the day we got there the new owner said they had already thrown out 16 industrial size dumpsters.
some cleaning and stuff required but we made out like bandits

"Can we get this barrel?" "No, we don't have room for a barrel." LOL For some reason that just cracked me up. Always fun tagging along with you two, both for the conversation and banter as well as the goodies you find. Also find it fun to see shops and yard and homes in your neck of the woods compared to mine out here in California - some things are very different, others just the same. That trailer could be anywhere in the USA I think - the carpet, the wood panelling, etc, have been through similar sales out here. Fun video - thanks!

The Hall's sugar bowl is a very desirable collectible. Try posting that on FB marketplace for local collectors of Hall's China. People like me try to assemble an entire set of one maker and one pattern. I actually collect Hall's vintage 1930’s Autumn Leaf pattern after inheriting my mother's set. It keeps her memory close.

That "Hutch" is called a Hoosier. Many kitchens in the 50s and 60s had the in perfect condition you can get pretty good money. The metal shelf slides out as a work counter. Usually the top left side held a flour sifter. If you like projects, it's a nice addition to your kitchen or anyone else's.

That crocheted hexagon blanket near the front door, if without rips, would have been a great find. Keep in mind that tin spice containers even with a plastic lid, sell well on ebay since spices don't come in tins any more and they are being used for decoration, etc. Also the old aluminum measuring spoons, ice cream dipper, some measuring cups, You must look in all the cabinets to spot some things... Keep an eye out for 'colorfast' bandanas - not uncommon to find in an older man's home. Old/used and new... There are a few brands that are very desirable.
