Hi mate, I've just done this and found a sock stuck in the bottom of the black pipe.. put it back together and working fine now.. just wondering if they will be any more behind the drum and what's the easiest way to check? Thanks!
Hi 'Jordan, yes I have come across this before. If you overload the machine with washing, small items will squeeze through the Door Seal and sink to the bottom of the Tub where the Sump is. This will then cause draining issues. Anything remaining would most probably had shown itself when you dismantled the black pipe at the bottom or Sump.
Hi Millzy, Don’t recommend that you do if you’re not confident. However dismantling the unit was the only way as this was a solid piece of Soap and poking something in the pipe would probably make a hole in it 😎. Regards.
there's very few video about the hose underneath the detergent drawer that can be searched in the internet luckily found and thanks😊 seems found many dirts inside of that hose and tiny black dots stick to my clothes after washing every time because of it😢 (already cleaned the detergent drawer and the big round grey rubber in the front door to ensure the dirt is not from them)
Hi Daniel, once you have removed the Sump (black flexible hose) have a look in its housing where it connects to the Tub, as there can't be any other obstruction if the Soap Tray housing is filling up with water.

Ha! Yep, it definitely gets overloaded sometimes. Thanks again mate, saved me loads of money..!
Great Video, do you think Drain unblocker would work? if unsure of taking lid off washing machine.

Excellent, thankyou very much mate . You saved me!👍
Thanks James,
Glad to help 😎.
I did this, and the sump hose wasn't blocked... what else could it be?

Would've been great if you'd shown how to open the top panel as well. Don't know why cut that part out.
Usually just two screws at the back Fa, depending on what machine YOU have.
That rubber tube often comes off that original cir-clip loose 😢
Thanks JK,
yes but if the machine is overloaded or the Tub moving excessively the Hose will inevitably work loose 😀.
