An interesting video showing the Eastbourne Sovereign Harbour lock gates, the access to the marina for all vessels.
Note that the image stabilization unfortunately failed throughout the entirety of filming here so the video appears quite shaky.
    Thanks For Watching!

Now this IS interesting! I've never seen warning lights like this on a lock as such but I knew at least one in this country would have it! It's interesting how they've also made those fire alarms sound like E2S A100 alarms like you get at Minehead L/C, Newhaven Swing Bridge and the Poole Twin Sails Bridge. Excellent video and catches!

Yeah I know. I've been wanting to film here for quite a while. There's Klaxon Nexus alarms for two locks on one side and Roshni Sounders for the two locks on the other side. The Roshni Sounders oddly produce a pedestrian crossing beeping sound which is very strange. These locks were constantly opening and closing, as were the bridges 😎 Thanks very much 👍

@Anthony Guarino I'm not Joe, but I was in Joe Thorpe's videos when he came to Kent most recently, and I'm also in this channel's videos of Wateringbury L.C

Good video as usual! Interesting that they chose not to use the miniature lights seen at user-worked crossings, but I suppose it’s cheaper to get hold of the pedestrian traffic signals. On an unrelated note, I didn’t realise there were so many crossings on the Marston Vale line, certainly in the Bletchley-Bedford segment!

Thanks 😎 These pedestrian lights would be a lot cheaper than mainline miniature warning lights which would likely be specialised for use on the railways anyway. Yeah, the Marston Vale line has quite a few crossings. Hoping to film there soon 😊

What do you mean double take?

He means looked and looked again at the walking red man. I did!

Ah I see. Yeah the red man has a wrong filter and so does the standing green man at the end of the video!

Sometimes people think the red man with the green man's filter means to freeze in its position, and sometimes people think the green man with the red man's filter means to jump!

Great video! Looks like they need to get the lenses there fixed!

Thanks! 😎 Yeah the pedestrian figure filters appear to be the wrong way round on two sets of lights! 😊

    Is this high tide?

I don't think it was as the water level in the locks had to be lowered and raised constantly for boats coming in and out
